 + -1 moreQverall, the job went extremely well. We couldn't have asked for harder working, more efficient pair than these two gentlemen! It was the type of situation that HAD to be fixed, and that could pur the customer at the mercy of the contractor. However, that was not they way the job was handled. The price charged was more than reasonable. Especially, considering the difficulty of the work required in a very tight crawl space!
Description of Work: A visual inspection of the floor in our crawl space indicated a potential water leak. We called Callahan Plumbing & Irrigation and made an appointment. We have used this company before, and have much confidence in their work. After reviewing the situation, Mr. Dan Callahan advised us that our old galvanized piping was beginning to show it's age. We had a potentially disastrous situation waiting to happen. He advised that we do some repiping with copper to avoid the disaster. Mr. Callahan, along with a helper (both master plumbers) came to the house a couple of days later, and performed the necessary repiping job. The work was accomplished in one day with one man working on the first floor level, and the other working in the crawl space. In addition, a new frost proof outdoor faucet was installed, at my request, and three additional ball-c*** shut off valves were installed to bring the house plumbing up to code. The entire job was completed in one day, and all old pipe and discarded material was taken away by the contractor.
