Wolf Brothers Carpet & Furniture, Inc.

I was able to make an appt and obtain service within a week.  Two Wolf Bros employees arrived within 30 min of scheduled time.  One walked through the house with me for instructions and measuring, while the other began prepping.  Furniture I wanted moved was identified and styrofoam and waxed paper protectors were left on appropriate furniture.  Their equipment was attached to my hose and cleaning commenced.  One began upstairs while the other started in the basement.  They treated stubborn spots and most everything came up.  I thought this was great considering I hadn't had the carpets cleaned in several years.  The two employees met on the main floor and continued cleaning.  One finished in the office while the other cleaned up.  An industrial fan was kept running in the bigger areas and I added fans to dry the stairs more quickly.
I was happy with their work.  They were very professional and helpful regarding keeping an older carpet clean.  Not having had carpets cleaned in while, the price was a little hard to get used to, but seemed reasonable considering the amount of carpet and dirty state it was in.  The whole house took about 3 hours to clean.  House smelled fresh and even the stain/spot remover smelled sweet and fresh.  Fortunately it was a lovely, breezy day and I was able to keep all the windows open and ceiling fans running to speed drying.  We removed all the styrofoam protectors from furniture feet in about 24 hours.  Open spaces dried more quickly, but it took the whole 24 hours for everything to be completely dry.

I still enjoy walking down the stairs noting the clean traffic areas and noting that my 17 y.o. carpet looks pretty good when clean!
I have two small complaints: 1) they emptied their lint trap in the front yard and left a little behind and, 2)a few little drops of the stain cleaner remained in a couple spots (I think that's what it is) and dried white and crusty.  I got it mostly up with water.
I will use this company again.

When I called to schedule the cleaning, they were able to schedule the work on the day I requested and arrived on time (actually a few minutes early). Protection was placed under furniture that was not removed from the room (I had already moved the smaller pieces as I had just had those rooms painted), and they moved my bedroom furniture back in place. Carpets were relatively dry by the end of the day and dry enough to replace the furniture the next day. They were professional and cordial. I would definitely use them again. Many of my friends had recommended them in addition to Angie's List recommendation.

Their prices are very reasonable. This is a family owned business. They are clean and the guys that work for them have worked for them for a lot of years and they are very knowledgeable. They are thorough but quick and care about your other furniture that is in your room.

Overall they did a fine job. The carpet looked almost brand new when they left (we have 7 yr old white carpet so it stains and wears very easily). After a few weeks it started to look a bit dirty again but I don't know how much we should expect...
