TAK exceeded our expectations both in quality and integrity of their work. We have an older home (50+ years) that needed rebuilding of our ceilings in the foyer, hallways and living room/dining room. Every step of framing, electrical, drywall, finishing and painting was done with great expertise. Not only was the work done well but we were very comfortable having them in our home. Great group to work with!! We highly recommend TAK!!!

Tom and his team did a terrific job on our long overdue and extensive drywall project. They removed and replaced ceiling drywall in two second floor bedrooms (damaged as a result of a leaky roof) plus handled a hallway, bathroom and closet. They also made a series of wall patches and also made numerous nail and smaller holes go away! And spackling was perfect. TAK team members were highly professional, thorough and the results were outstanding. What a difference they’ve made in our home. We have another drywall project planned for later this year and we'll have TAK back for that phase.

We hired TAK to repair a ceiling that was sagging and showing some nail pops. The quote was very reasonable, and. Outlined additional options for painting the walls in the room. Work started promptly each day and we were told exactly when the workers would arrive each day, got updates on status and what to expect for the next day. The work and attention to detail was top notch, and we were pleased as we saw everything coming together. The finished room looks great and we could not be happier. More impressive was the care the guys took to clean up after themselves each day. When the painting was completed, you could barely tell that the workers had been there. We are already planning to hire TAK for some work in our kitchen, and I would recommend them for any drywall and/or painting work you’re planning.

We needed a plaster ceiling repair for a 140 year old home and we're very glad we chose TAK Drywall. They showed up when they said they would, cleaned up afterwards, and did an amazing job. The ceiling looks perfect. They truly are specialists at drywall and plaster. Highly recommend.

Tom was out within a day or so of contacting them. He knew just how to make the entire ceiling sound again, and the work was done in a timely and very tidy fashion. Everyone was very courteous and efficient. I highly recommend TAK.

Tom and his crew were wonderful. Very accommodating with our schedule. I'm most pleased with the quality of the work which I would consider to be top notch. I'm sure you could find someone cheaper but in our opinion our money was well spent. The finished product speaks for itself and we will be working with them again in the future. The project went very well. In remodeling, there is always something to worry about. Tom was available to discuss issues, responsive to requests. Once the work started, the job was done with quality and in a timely fashion. Each of the workers was professional, communicated well, cleaned up thoroughly and provided quality work. Finished based was partially demolished to allow for foundation repair. Job including reframing, drywall install, repair dropped ceiling replace trim and painting to match. It was a larger job for repair work.

Tom/T.A.K. Drywall Specialists, Inc., were absolutely fantastic! Tom is very professional and has extensive knowledge and experience in drywall, drywall repair, taping and painting. Tom gave thorough step by step explanation of the work that needed to be done as well as to the proper type of paint. The process of the work was timely and without all the dust! My home sustained severe damage from fallen tree that caused damage to the dining room and a bedroom above. T.A.K. had to come in to fix the very poor craftsmanship from a previous contractor to fix my home. T.A.K.'s work was far superior to the previous contractor I had hired. I only wish I found T.A.K. originally. I highly recommend T.A.K. Drywall Specialists and I would hire them again without hesitation. My rooms look absolutely beautiful now and I could not be more pleased. Thank you Tom and T.A.K. Drywall Specialists!!!

It was an effortless experience for us. Tom took care of everything. He told us at the beginning of the week what time and day to expect each of the contractors. Tom was there each day to make sure each contractor understood what we wanted and to answer any questions we had. Everyone was very nice and showed up right on time and cleaned up before they left. It was a great experience and we will definitely be using TAK again.

Very good team of people and the quality of the work was great. From the owner (Tom) to the drywall installers, to the taping, to the painting, all were very professional and courteous and everything was clean when they left. I would highly recommend them to anyone.

All work was done very well and completed early. Each day I was delighted with the work done and progress made. The entire team was professional and customer focused. The owner was a real pleasure to work with and has a great team.

The work and cleanliness of what I consider a messy project was above expectation.

Contacted via paid angieslist subscription, replied via angieslist, arranged my day to accommodate him coming out for a quote. Came out, said I needed to trim some things so they could do the work, then proceeded to cut some of the drywall to demonstrate what he required or he would charge extra. It was not necessary to do what he said. He left, promised a quote within two days and never provided one, so he left me with cut up drywall and never heard from him again. Other quotes didn’t require any extra “prep” before they would do work and were all the same price. If covid got him, forgive me for being insensitive, if not, poor customer service and unprofessional approach and lack of overall professionalism in following through on a quote when he hacked up my wall and left a mess inside an uncovered cabinet and dust and chunks in front of an, at the time air return so now I got all that crap in my ac unit.

I worked with TAK on two different occasions. Tom headed up both projects and was in touch and responsive 100% of the time. I always knew what was going on. Tom knows his stuff and doesn’t skip corners - he wants things done right. He was great at making sure we knew all our options. We worked with 6 gentlemen in addition to Tom from TAK and all of them were professional, courteous and did a wonderful job. We are happier than we thought we could be with everything they did. We will use them again in the future.

My 1991 bathroom went to 2020 spa! Tom and his employees/contractors work like they are remodeling their own house. They are friendly, clean up after themselves and are trustworthy. There are so many decisions to make when remodeling that whenever I couldn’t decide, Tom made suggestions which I usually went with and was very happy with the end result. When I moved into my condo in 2016, Tom worked on the living room, dining room, kitchen, hallway, guest bedroom and bathroom and totally remodeled my basement into a family room and also added a 1/2 bathroom. He was the only person I wanted to do my master bath remodel.

They did a great job. They were clean, professional, and worked around my wacky schedule. Would recommend.

It was A+ from start to finish. It's clear that the employees enjoy working for Tom and they did a great job. They were on time, neat, cleaned up after themselves and did very nice work--from the drywall installers to the mud and tape guy to the painter for the final touches--it was a job well done. I would definitely recommend!

Everything went great, we are very happy with the quality of the work.

I used TAK for a second time on a bit of a complex drywall project. We had to tear down and completely re-build a wall for my new home theater and had to take into account allowing access to water pipes in the back behind the wall. Tom came up with a great solution that allows full access to the pipes while maximizing the space available for my home theater. Tom is very good at what he does and very creative in finding the best solution at a very fair price. I highly recommend TAK!

Tak completed a huge project for us in September that involved dry walling our cathedral ceiling, putting in can lighting, some minor carpentry work, and a lot painting, including a huge, wall-to-wall, floor to ceiling bookcase (in addition to walls and ceilings). The project involved almost exclusively working on scaffolding, and organizing multiple subcontractors. We threw them an added challenge of having to do all of this under time pressure, as we had previously planning a large party, so the work had to be complete by a certain date, with almost no room for error or delays. Tak did great work, on schedule, and with professionalism. Tom (the owner) was super responsive and all of his own crew, as well as the folks who he subcontracted, lived up to his level of professionalism. We had a large, complex job, and definitely picked the right company to do the work. I'd hire them again or recommend them to others without hesitation.

Excellent in every way. Quality work. On time. Cleaned up. Couldn't be happier.
