EV Charging Station Installation
I called Elburn electric to get an estimate to install electric car charger in my garage. The owner himself showed up. He was very polite, and didn’t push me at all. I decide to hire them and again the owner himself came to do the job. He did a very clean job and I highly recommend them. I definitely going to use them for other electric projects I have in the future.

We had been struggling with our laundry room ceiling light flickering on and off. Multiple people came and replaced the switch and the fixture, but we still had the same problem. Ray was able to diagnose the problem we were having with our light. I am embarrassed to say it turned out to be the LED bulb, once we replaced that everything was fine.

They replaced my electric panel. They gave me an estimation of the cost of the work and they stuck with it. They properly installed the panel and switches and finished on time. Also they answered my questions and were very friendly during the whole process. This made me feel comfortable with this project. We would hire Elburn Electric again.

The electrician took a ridiculously long time, disappeared for hours, seemed confused and left after hanging 3 bent light fixtures. He did not communicate until questioned about the time and tried to conceal the fixtures he damaged by leaving plastic on them. The other contractors in my home were laughing about how long this guy took and how it must be an hourly rate. I was completely taken advantage of and am disappointed in the poor service.

Elburn Electric, rewired the older part of our earlier this year. The system was not properly grounded. Ray, Robert and Mike did an excellent job. The rewiring of the house was not a straight project. Many obstacles were faced. They keep me up posted and when complications cropped up, they brought me into the process to solve the problem. I was very satisfied with their work. I will hire them again when I need additional electrical work.

Ray and his assistant did a great job. Put in a few new breakers, ran conduit, installed new outlets in the basement and garage, and replaced a few exterior outlets. Arrived on time. Great communication from start to finish. Job competitively priced. Friendly and easy to work with. The finished work looks great. I highly recommend Elburn Electric and will contact them the next time I need electrical work done.
