Both the owner and his daughter were pleasant and professional.  We discussed the condition of the carpeting and he advised that due to the age of the carpets they would not look brand new when he was finished.  We understood, of course, and didn't expect a carpet of several years to look brand new.  They spent a couple hours cleaning the carpets and when they were done there was a definite improvement. 
My only complaint was that the carpet was pretty wet and took a while to dry.
