DAN HECHT CHEVROLET TOYOTA INC

I have been using them for seven years or longer than that all together 10 or 12 years. They are straight. They do what they said they were going to do. They are pretty honest about their work. I am satisfied with them.

The oil change was fine.
Most of the staff is awesome, friendly, and outgoing.
The work cost was reasonable.
The work was done on time.
The facility is clean and maintained.

I received safety recall notice first Thursday of January. Immediately phoned for an appointment, and was scheduled for the following Monday. In making the appointment the service manager said mine would be their shop's first experience at this procedure, so they did not know how long it would take. Being retired, I had no problem with that. Beginning at 8 a.m., they called me in early afternoon to say the car was ready to go, and that it did show some of the premature wear on a component of the steering system that was the reason for the recall. When I went to get the car I asked for an appointment for my spouse's car, same make/model, different year, since her recall notice had arrived. (Toyota can send only one recall-replacement part per week to each dealer until the supply can be built up.) Thus my spouse's car was the third part replacement on this recall, two weeks later (1/22/2012). The mechanics had that one ready to go in about two hours.

I have regularly had my vehicles serviced by Dan Hecht Toyota / Chevrolet for more than fifteen years. That includes body work following a collision with a deer. I have never had a problem with the quality of their service or the professionalism of their demeanor.
