Extremely professional construction. Poured new concrete footing where supports met ground. Deck flooring was level and railings were strong and tight. Workers were friendly and tolerant of nosy Labrador retriever. Construction was accomplished within estimated timeframe. Definitely will hire them again for future jobs.

We called several contractors for estimates for various large projects. While we were finally able to get bids from a couple of contractors, Mick Construction stood out. Mark met with us promptly, listened carefully, gave a well-researched estimate. We waited almost a year to select a project to start, but Mark remembered us and met with us to get more details about what we wanted done. His estimated starting date was accurate (actually a couple of days early) and he finished up when he thought he would, at the price he quoted us. He (and his brother Brian) are skilled, professional and a pleasure to work with. They take their time to do it right the first time--the tile work in our tub alcove and custom shower is great. No standing water in the shower and they took the time to finish the corners nicely.
To save some money, we purchased bathroom components from various places (great local carpenter for the vanity, granite from Granite City :-), tub, faucets and light fixtures online, tile from Lowe's) and it was never a problem coordinating things with Mark. He even made a special visit to help me calculate the amount of tile to order, even though he had done it during the estimate.
We love the way the bathroom turned out and would absolutely work with Mick Construction again. They were a pleasure to have in the house for a couple of weeks and I trust their work. I have already given their name to several neighbors who had damage during the 5/31 tornadoes. Highly recommend.

Mark with Mick's was great. He and his staff were timely, always kept us in the loop and did a great job. Their communication and promptness was fantastic. I highly recommend them for small and large jobs.

They started the project on the date scheduled and completed within a week. We had no problems and the job was excellent.

I wasn't real happy with the electrician he subbed out, he was unreliable. But the rest of the work was wonderful.

They have been in business in this area for a long time. Mick Construction equals top-notch construction. They are very good and know what they are doing; their prices are reasonable and they were very helpful in suggesting things that could be done to make the bathroom update more suitable for our needs. We told Mark what we wanted to do and he, Brian and Steve were very helpful in offering tips and ideas without pressuring us. Prior to construction, Mark Perry stopped by with a detailed contract and went through it with us item by item. Mark and Brian Perry arrived early each morning and worked steadily throughout the day on the renovation. Mark and Brian removed all of the wall tile and flooring in the bathroom. They installed new concrete board on the walls and floor, as well as new ceramic tile for the walls and floor. The style of tub in stock that was selected was made to be positioned between two walls. In order to place the tub in its position, they were able to adapt the tub for only one wall, building a short wall on one end with a beautiful wood top. it looked great! Mark and Brian also installed a new toilet, medicine cabinet, towel bars, t.p. holder, light fixture and vanity. Their workmanship is first-rate.They are very precise, professional, clean, and trustworthy. Mick Construction's Mark and Brian and Steve have a great quality of workmanship. We are very happy with their services and will hire them again for any future construction.

We were away when the work was started and were pleasantly surprised upon our return. We had removed several items which were attached to the old deck before we left but not all of them. I would suggest that if you have anything which you want to use on the new deck that you remove everything yourself.
Overall we are very happy with our new deck and the color is perfect. The builder was very patient with us and made several trips to our home to show us samples. Clean-up was excellent and everything was done when they said it would be.

We are very satisfied with the results. The opening looks great and opens up the house. Mark and Steve were prompt and professional. They arrived on time and ready to work, they cleaned up after they were done and we are very happy with the quality and outcome of the job. Would recommend and would hire again.

Their price was reasonable. They were dependable, trustworthy and my dogs loved them. Their quality was outstanding.

The planning and building phases were exactly as we discussed and the work moved at a good pace. I was pleased to see how much care they took with every step of the project. They take great care to get it right and make the customer happy. I would use them again to build another home. Now if they could repair the economy.

The company representative showed up for the estimate on time and made suggestions about how to proceed. After discussions we agreed that they could do the installation. On the appointed day, a two-man crew showed up early and began on time. They covered the work area with tarps and began to cut a hole in the wall for the externally vented range hood. I had to download the installation instructions that were mis-placed, and the crew completed the installation. They were very careful to clean up the area of debris and were careful not to disturb my wife's plants in the area where the outside vent exited the wall. These guys were professional and prompt and most importantly knew what they were doing. I would highly recommend Mick Construction based on my experience.

I have had other construction groups come in over the years and try to solve the problem. None could repair it long-term. Mick Construction came out to make the repairs and so far they are still holding up. I liked that they took me out to the windows and showed me the problem. They also took the time to show me what needed to be done and gave a detailed explanation.

They did the construction part of it. They were neat and did a good quality job. I would recommend them. They were always very responsive. It is essentially a 3 men company. They installed flooring, ornate crown molding, kitchen cabinets and appliances.
