GIBSON'S REPAIR SVC

Mike arrived during the scheduled time and installed the Aprilaire Humidifier and was preparing to do the cleaning and checking of furnace when he informed me there was a leak inside the furnace and would require a part.  He returned on Nov. 12th, replaced the faulty part (which had been leaking for a few years when you looked at the rust and corrosion on tray of furnace).  Important to note that I had the furnace checked the last 2 years (not by Gibson's) and never was it mentioned that there was a leak and problem.
Replace cracked lower heat exchange housing & gasket.  Performed 20 point check of furnace.  No major problems found.
Although there was added cost for returning, the overall costs were lower than I expected, work was exceptional and Mike explained everything and let me take pictures for my records.  I would highly recommend Gibson's Repair and will have Mike back in the spring for our AC.

Called Mike with a cooling issue in my home. Original unit installed by a local contractor about 7 years ago and unit wasn't running properly. Mike quickly diagnosed the damper was stuck and flooding the one section of the house with cold air (freezing) and the other with nothing (hot). Also replaced a control board with a melted area that was causing the thermostat to stop working. He replaced the board and checked over the unit all within 1 hour. The damper required him to make a second trip because it was not in stock and we had to wait for parts. His second trip out, for damper install was 30 mins or less! In addition to all this he checked over the unit, checked the freon, and reset up the jumper settings on the boards to run the unit properly. You have to love this guy!
