Very impressed when the owner came out twice once for the measurement and planning. The second time for costs, landscaping. They weren't the cheapest, but I was impressed the personal care in detail.

Have not decided who or exactly what we are doing at this time

It went great. Checked with both my wife and I before sending the bill to make sure we were happy.

Rein came over to discuss what we were wanting. He came back w/a quote . we paid him a portion down to start the job. His crew came & did the job. They came back a few weeks later to make sure we were happy & dropped off the remainder of the bill. Great experience.

Our project needed to be delayed by about 6 weeks due to heavy rains, but this was no problem for us. They informed us a couple days in advance of when they were able to start our project, arrived on time, worked diligently and without supervision. They were very professional, and cleaned up at the end of each day. The whole project only took 2 full days plus a couple hours on the 3rd day. 
Ryan Palm, the owner, came to see what was needed to complete our project. He gave some good suggestions and did a drawing indicating what could be done with his estimate within a couple weeks of his initial visit with us. He is very professional and nice to deal with. There were absolutely no problems from start to finish and we are so very pleased with the new curb appeal they gave our front yard. I would not hesitate to use them again in the future and would highly recommend them!

Great company to work with. Easily the most professional contracting company I've worked with. It does come at a slightly higher price than some of the local competition, but I'm a firm believer in getting what you pay for. Other contractors have left extra materials, garbage, etc that needed to be cleaned up afterwards. Not these guys! They cleaned up everything, each day. I'm very pleased with our experience with this company. The schedule slipped out by about two weeks, but they were very upfront about how likely this was to happen since the landscaping industry is typically weather dependent. We did have to call a week prior to the original date to ask what the new date was. 
Initial sit down and discussion with Ryan went very smoothly. Very personable and he really tries to understand what you're after both in the short term and the long term. He was great working within our budget and making sure we got the biggest impact within our budget.
Landscaping took about 2 days, total cost was $3,400 for a maple tree planted, full garden installation around the yard lamp post, full garden installation across the front of the house, and reworking a small existing patch of landscaping.

Designer Concepts is a professional organization that is evident from the time you set up an appointment. Ryan's design was spot on - we made no changes to his initial design. While a record setting rainfall in June that pushed back our project to the fall, the team communicated with us to let us know when we could expect it to begin. The installation team worked hard each day and completed the project two days sooner than the projected timeline. They were prompt and very respectful of our property, sweeping the street and our driveway when necessary at the end of each day. When Cory recommended the shed be stabilized, he was able to do the work for much less than what he originally estimated, for which we were thankful because we had not planned on the additional cost. When the installation was complete, Ryan inspected the finished project, providing further confidence in the emphasis on quality that is evident by their organization. Even the sodding process was impressive as the team carefully graded and leveled the area to be sodded, fertized and laid the sod. After 2 1/2 weeks of watering, it's hard to tell where the sodded area begins and ends. They are excellent at communication and provided a trimming and pruning list for all of the plants installed, which is very helpful. This is the fourth project Designer Concepts has completed for us, and we have been pleased with each one. I would highly recommend them for any landscape project.

Ryan is very personable and professional. I described my likes and he designed it and we are very pleased. Installation was quick. His installers were very nice.

We had a slow start because of all the rain in June, but we received multiple letters and phone calls updating our expected start time.  There were also follow-up calls and letters.  Great customer service!  But expensive.

Our first impression of Ryan was one of surprise. Not very often do you meet such an honest and friendly person when dealing with any contractor. He sat down and designed everything we asked for with some very helpful advice and insight. When he returned a few days later, we were excited by the colorful and detailed blueprint of our new flower garden.  We had many problems with water drainage in all areas of our yard and Ryan had many great ideas to help us.  With no pressure and plenty of time for us to give thought,  we agreed with Ryan's plan and are we thankful we did so. All the drainage issues are gone with no more soggy yard.With a very hot stretch, some of the sod did not look to good and the crew was sent back to resod a few spots. Now the grass looks great and it is very hard to see we had any sod work done here at all.  Ryan and his crew did a magnificent job, they are the very BEST in Peoria, hands down!!  We are always very happy to refer folks to Designer Concepts because we have the proof here in front of us, that Ryan and everyone working for him ,have the dedication and desire to make the customer happy and go the extra mile.  Do not have any landscape work done without first calling Designer Concepts, you will glad that you did. A++++ work!!

Work was performed timely and in an extremely professional manner. End result was great!

Crew arrived and removed existing landscaping materials. Stones were installed on perimeter circle around tree. rock was installed and completed. Clean up of the area was performed.

Very courteous and professional.  They were  unable to come first day as promised because of weather.  Otherwise there when they said they would be.  Were finished ahead of what they had originally said even after I made a couple additions to the job.  They aren't cheap, but I went the cheap route a couple years ago and regretted it!  I would highly recommend them.

It went great. I was kept informed about start date. The crew worked in miserably cold weather and did a great job.

Excellent. Ryan's crew was here every day until the job was finished and the work they did was excellent!

His bid although not the lowest but was by far the most complete and professional layout. We made a few changes which were cheerfully handled and the project was approved. It included extensive replacement of old overgrown evergreens and a broken down tree with a more colorful layout of shrubs, a Japanese Maple, perennials, establishment of a new rose bed of knockout roses and placement of brick edging and underground downspout drainage. I might add here their quote, at my request did not include removal of the old evergreens. The back yard area along the back of the property was upgraded with several new shrubs and perennials. Both areas were hardwood mulched to a 3" depth and treated with Preen.



|Since then they have been back to replace a few shrubs that did not make it because of the extreme heat that summer. No problems with honoring the warranty.



|Since that project I have had them back to trim some brush and trees back from growth behind my lot. This was done in a professional manner at a reasonable price.

We bid the job with different companies and chose Designer Concepts on price and the professionalism they showed in presenting their bids. They gave us a target start date and assured us that once they started, they would continue until completion. They did just as promised; keeping us informed as other jobs neared completion and the worked started within the window they planned.
Once the job started, they were there everyday and worked - didn't stand around. They worked on our project everyday, all day; not jumping from one customer to another. They were also very considerate about where to park equipment and materials.
When the job was completed they cleaned up everything, not leaving us with any issues.
Now nearly 6 years later, we have had no issues with our patio. It has not settled, nor heaved. We are pleased as can be.

They arrived on time and were very professional. They did a wonderful job. I would use them again.
