Company did not honor their commitment. They were to remove a small tree, and a rock measuring about a foot by a foot and a half. They removed the tree, ground the stump, took the money, promised to come back for the rock and apparently had no intention of doing so. We have contacted them by phone four times to finish the job, have been lied to that they were coming, then were told they would "put it on the schedule." (We would have thought it already was.) It has been more than a month now, the rock would be a matter of minutes, but while assuring us they will return they have now taken to the "I can't hear you" and then voicemail-on-callback dodge. We finally left a message that we were posting this report if we hadn't seen them in a week. It's now two days past that deadline so here it is. Had we been given an honest reason they could no longer honor the agreement, we would probably have accepted it at that. After all, it's just a rock--and it beats us why anyone would work so hard to do a good job with the prospect of more here-- and then throw it all away over a rock. What a shame there are people whose work is good but whose word is bad. Sad but true--in these days when a man's word can't be counted on, get EVERY DETAIL in writing.
