They came out and their employee laid a tarp on the roof as a 'stop gap' until further work could be done, to prevent further leaks. The quote the company came back with for the entire job was so outrageous - nearly 10K more than the other quotes we had received from reputable companies. We declined, but cashed out with our insurance company so we could hire someone else. It was then that we discovered these crooks charged nearly $800 for laying a tarp. That was all they did. Lay. A. Tarp. To add insult to injury, when our competent roofer was doing the job, he noted that the nails used by Perfection Cleaning & Restoration were too long, and not the appropriate nail for this type of job (according to the roofer we hired). As such, ADDITIONAL LEAKS sprang up in our ceiling BECAUSE OF WHAT PERFECTION CLEANING & RESTORATION HAD DONE. We took pictures of the nails, and how deep they went, and our insurance company (USAA) was appalled at the shoddy work. We took pictures of all of it, and sent it to USAA, and I hope USAA recoups their loss, because this company caused an additional $6000 of damage to our roof that WASN'T THERE BEFORE, and then had the audacity to charge 800 dollars for it. This company price gouges and I would warn anyone against hiring them for anything. Plus, their staff is unpleasant and appeared smug and indignant about the damage they had caused.

I had significant water damage caused by a leaking water heater on the second floor. They repaired drywall, sanded and refinished the first level floor and repainted in rooms upstairs and downstairs. They are an extremely professional business with excellent customer service. The quality of their work was outstanding and they are very easy to work with. Highly recommended.

insurance co. paid for removal & installation of new vanity, contractor bought wrong size cabinet [he had size of original one].I had a sprained ankle & could not go upstairs to see vanity. they did not tell me it was wrong size .  when I found out we could not re-install  toilet paper holder [also covered by insurance] is when I found out it was wrong size. I called sub contractor and told him it had to be removed and same size as original vanity had to be installed. contractor called me and said I picked the vanity & I would have to pay to remove it .  I did not pick or see it before they installed it and was never told it was wrong size and I refused.contractor then said , " this is the size they are putting in  bathrooms today,] I said the insurance paid for replacement of original vanity & that is what I needed. he was very angry. also he was to install new water inlet lines. he did not use a plumber to install the first vanity and sink they brought, he used the drywall person and had him use the original solid copper compression lines from original vanity. they were to short and he could not get the faucet to stop leaking water. he kept tightening the nuts on to my original faucet and finally stripped the faucet  threads. he came downstairs and told me what happened and said the faucet could no longer be used and I would have to buy a new one.  I bought a new one and told rick [contractor] what happed and he refused  to re-pay me for faucet . [$50.00]. then I received a new contract with a higher amount , & he re-worded the vanity  from original remove and replace to remove and reset, and added owner was to purchase vanity,  when I told him I was not responsible for the replacement because the insurance co. had included the cost in the contract, he kept saying  "i did not charge you for a vanity in my new contract  so you are responsible for the cost." I could not get him to admit that he was already paid for the vanity cabinet in the insurance quote. I also called my insurance  and told her what was going on and she said  I was correct . the contractor was to pay for the vanity. then he gave me a separate contract for an additional amount of $2,522.80 and wanted a check from me  to cover the water extraction & remediation . I told him that was also covered in contract by insurance. and had nothing to do with me.  some of the work in bathroom was shoddy and had to be re-done. also in his original contract he put me down as paying for floor tile.  also covered by insurance.
Response from Perfection Cleaning & Restoration

"The reconstruction team has been in constant communication with the member and switched out the vanity as soon as we were notified she was unhappy with the selection. Perfection has agreed to work with the insurance company pricing and the homeowner has been reimbursed for the cost of the vanity purchase. It is our goal to provide exceptional customer service and make it top priority to correct any client concerns with urgency. Per our last conversation, [Member Name Removed] informed us she is pleased with the outcome of the project."

Our water heater was leaking and ruined some dry wall and carpet in our finished basement.  We called our insurance, State Farm, and they called in Perfection Cleaning.  The did an excellent job cutting out and replacing the drywall, pulling up the carpet and painting.

The sewage system failed, flooding our entire neighborhood. Finding someone available and trustworthy to clean up was a huge challenge. We took a risk on this company from out of state and are glad we did. They worked with us on the scope and price to something we could affordable, showed up when they said they would and did exactly what was promised. Very hardworking crew. They made an extremely difficult situation manageable.

Any questions that I had at all with their work, they took me through and we ended up getting a new house from them. They could not paint the exterior of the home due to weather conditions, so they waiting until the spring time to do so. They advised me when the best time to paint was so the paint would last.  My neighbor had a fire as well and I recommended them to her. I wished I could give them an A+. The price was covered by my insurance.

That service turned out wonderful. They did a good job and completed the roofing in 2 days. The gutter installation took 2 days as well, but both days were not full days. They used good material. My daughter, who is an architect, recommended what shingles I should get. So this company offered those shingles.

That turned out okay, but I think the price of their service is high. I had them come out to clean the drywall in the basement. They moved my belongings to the garage and had to move them out to the dumpster.

Company was professional and quick to reply to my initial inquiry regarding the basement clean up.  The tearing up of carpet and baseboards along with disinfecting was done in a quick and timely manner.  Because of this, I decided to hire them for the remodel of the basement as well.  It has been 4.5 weeks and the remodel still hasn't happened.  They often don't return my calls and when I do get a hold of them they tell me they have been busy and haven't had a chance to talk to the insurance company (to figure out reimbursement).  I realize it is a busy season with all of the rain we've had, but I don't feel like I am being prioritized and believe I will go ahead with a different company for the remodel.  I'm not sure why it's taken 4.5 weeks.  The company keeps apologizing, but mean while, my tenants are living with a torn up basement.  It is not right and I don't feel I am being respected.
Response from Perfection Cleaning & Restoration

"Perfection is working with the member's insurance company to obtain approval for the necessary repairs. We want to ensure the insurance company has approved everything we feel is part of the insurance claim to avoid the member paying for the difference out-of-pocket. Insurance adjusters are very busy at this time and sometimes we do not get immediate answers. Perfection understands the frustration and is doing everything in our power to get the repairs underway as quickly as possible."

They promised they would be able to do the work the week after I approved the estimate. When I called to touch base with them, they didn't return my phone calls. Finally I was able to speak to them and was told that they couldn't do the job for another few weeks!
Response from Perfection Cleaning & Restoration

"Due to the unpredictable nature of the disaster restoration business it is sometimes hard to predict our availability for non-emergency repairs. We reached out to [Member Name Removed], but unfortunately were not able to accommodate his schedule."

It went well. Overall, it went really well. The guys were very communicative. The primary contact for me was a guy named Mark. He coordinated a team of people who came in. They dealt with it appropriately. They got it all out. They did what they said they're going to do. They're pretty clear about explaining to me what they were doing the whole time. It's very important because it's a scary thing. They're very communicative of when they would showed up. I can't say enough about them. It was a very good experience.

It went extremely well.  The crew got to my house the same day I called when other companies had me pushed into the next week. They put everything up on blocks off the floor, cleaned up the water, took out sections of the walls that were damaged, and set up all their drying equipment.  They checked on the house daily to check equipment and make sure everything was being dried properly. Excellent service!
