American Air Heating & Cooling

My house is not large, approximately 2900 sq. ft. and uses two HVAC systems, one larger unit and one smaller unit. American Air Heating and Cooling inspected the existing HVAC system. Mark and Jeff arrived on Monday, 12/12/16 to evaluate the two existing HVAC systems, which took about one hour. There was no charges for this visit. The next day American Air Heating and Cooling provided a written quote via e-mail. A follow up phone call to discuss the two options to replace the larger unit which had completed failed. We agreed on the Carrier Infinity series furnace and air conditioning units. The new Carrier Infinity system was installed on Tuesday, 12/20/16. Mark and Jeff, plus two other Service Techs. arrived promptly at 9:00AM. How often do you see 4 HVAC servicemen on a residential home site? It was awesome !!! They removed the existing furnace (heat exchanger had completed failed) and installed both units by 3:00 PM. Mark provided instructions to my wife and myself on how to operated the Wifi thermostat. It has been 3 days since the installation and I could not be any happier with the Carrier Infinity Series system. American Air Heating and Cooling were professional, courteous, friendly, efficient and well organized. If I could give 10 stars instead the Angie's list max of 5, I would in a heart beat. Highly recommend American Air Heating and Cooling for any HVAC work. Honest, Trustworthy and Highly Competent company.

I contacted a highly reputable HVAC Contractor regarding a furnace which was not working. I inquired if this local HVAC Contractor would be willing to be make a service call which would require a one drive from his shop to my house. He kindly suggested a HVAC Contractor (American Air Heating & Cooling) which he has worked with previously and was a closer distance to my house. I then contacted Mark at American Air Heating & Cooling on Sunday 12/11/16 at 9:00AM. Mark answered his phone quickly and I informed him that my furnace was not running. Mark instructed me to self perform some troubleshooting areas, prior to making a service call. Mark suggested that IF I was comfortable with perform some checks over the phone that he might be able to diagnosis the issue so, IF he needed to make a service call, he would be better prepared. I was willing to perform the self checks and then sent him some photos so he could understand the layout of the furnace 'inner workings'. Using the photos Mark was able to instruct me to check safety limit switches, which could be preventing the furnace from running. Fortunately, there was one safety switch that needed to be reset, which then allowed the furnace to ignite and we had heat again. How many HVAC Contractors would take time (20 minutes) on a Sunday morning to help a customer and not charge the customer. I was inspired by the thought that there are still good people in the world that are willing to help others. The spirit of the Holiday Seasons is alive !!! Afterwards we discussed the age and condition of the furnace. I explained that the furnace is 13 years old and has been giving me multiple issues for the last 15 months and was considering replacing with a new and higher efficient HVAC system. We then agreed for Mark to make a in home inspection of our existing HVAC system and provide a free / no cost evaluation to determine if the existing HVAC needed to be replaced or just tuned up. Based on Mark's professionalism, courtesy and competence I would highly recommend American Air Heating & Cooling for anyone needing repairs, considering HVAC replacement or new home construction.

Mark is a true professional. Courteous, punctual and knowledgeable. He took it upon himself to call the manufacturer of our ac unit and was able to find out we were still under warranty. He ordered the part for us (which ended up being covered) and only charged us for the labor to install it. He kept in touch the whole time about appointments and status of the part, etc.. The whole process was so quick and much less painless than it could have been with someone less competent. We are grateful for the great service. Can't recommend them enough! Thank you.
