Jim Melchert is a true professional who provided unparalleled customer service. He quickly assessed my garage to determine the best tailored storage shelves to install in order to maximize my space. The technician who installed my garage shelves, Tony, did an outstanding job! I was extremely happy with the results. After reorganizing my garage, using my new shelving units, it appears that my garage had a full face lift and hair cut! I am so glad to get rid of the clutter and I am thoroughly enjoying the new space, created by my new garage shelves. I previously used a store bought floor epoxy kit for my garage floor that did not last and wasn't worth the money. I had Jim come out and give me a quote for a professional floor epoxy coating. He was very professional, knowledgeable and has reasonable pricing. Many colors and material choices are available. I was impressed with the quality of material they used and his crews workmanship was excellent. I highly recommend the Garage Store, Jim and his associates are fantastic. I wish I would have had this done sooner, my garage looks awesome!

Jim came to the house. Measured and showed me some sample of flooring. After discussing what I wanted he emailed a price estimate which I was fine with but with a few minor changes. After a few emails back and forth, I wanted better insulation installed and he said it would cost 3x as much. Which I was also fine with. After that, no follow up email or call. Never heard from Jim again. Maybe my job was to small ($14,000 - 16,000) so they went on to bigger jobs. I don’t know.

Very well done. Clean and professional work. Tony was the installer, and he has done this work for many years. He was very organized and careful. I am very pleased with the result.

Jim was prompt, kept all appointments in a timely and efficient manner, made great suggestions and did not try to over-sell. He worked me quickly into their schedule and all work was done quickly and efficiently and 1 month out and we are still quite pleased. The crew was friendly and did a solid job. The job was ~$10,000.00

Garage Store responded quickly when I contacted them. Josh discussed the process to repair and seal the garage floor and helped me select an appropriate color. The job was scheduled for a week or two later and a crew of 3 men arrived on time to do the job. They worked quickly and efficiently, in a professional manner. The new garage floor looks beautiful and the epoxy coating seems durable and easy to keep clean. I should have done this years ago.

They have a unique product, more of a commercial grade. I can hang 800 pounds from my ceiling. If we extend the garage, I would love to have them come back out and do an entire system on one of my walls.

My garage floor was a disaster, oil stains, cracks. It is beautiful now could eat off of it. The owner and his crew were very timely, and just nice guys! The customer service was explicable. I would highly recommend their services to others. I will have them back to do additional work in the near future.

Not only did they have the best design layouts with high quality products they were also the lowest bid out of 4 separate contractors. Jim from the Garage Store is my go to guy when it comes to garage reorganization.

The installation was perfect; it is stable, neat, and exactly as requested. The only issue that we had was that the scheduler told us that we would be able to purchase additional SafeRacks and have them installed and we would only need to pay for the racks. This would allow us to save on additional install fees for a second visit. Unfortunately, the installer told us that he didn't have any extras, and we should call for a second appointment.

Every aspect of this project was phenomenal! From the early planning stages, to the execution, to the follow-ups after completion. Garage Store exceeded our every expectation. In the planning stages, Jim met with my wife and I several times to make sure that he understood exactly what we wanted, and provided us with options. He never tried to pressure us into any particular decision, he laid out all the options, told us what he found to work best, but let us drive the project. After we finalized exactly what we wanted, he gave us a detailed cost breakdown, and timeline. A few days before our project was set to start, the company called and reviewed the timeline with us, and Jim's team started exactly when they said they would. Every step of the way, Garage Store was in communication with us, and they followed the timetable wonderfully. There was one time that the timeline was changed, but Jim called me, discussed why they wanted to move up a particular aspect, and we agreed it was a good call. The garage doors were supposed to be installed on a Thursday, but the one of the two technicians was unavailable, so Jim asked if they could move it up to Tuesday as it is easier for two people to install the doors than one. Clearly, I was not upset that we could have our garage doors functional two days earlier! ( I'd call that a win-win) During the project, Garage Store was exceptionally communicative. Jim would often text me to go over questions, or concerns, and he welcomed both my questions and feedback during the process. As little things came up, we would send pictures to each other and I felt confident that every thing was being taken care of perfectly. Moreover, every weekend, Garage Store would call and review the week coming up: reminding me what was going to happen each day, and check in to make sure that I did not have any questions or concerns. At the end of the project, my drywall was removed, the garage was insulated, new electrical was run, an electric heater was installed, new drywall was hung (taped, mudded, painted) new doors were installed, new lights were installed, Epoxy flooring was installed, organization was brought into the space. With all that going on, the price seems high, but again, each component was right on, or below the cost of other companies. I cannot stress how happy we are with Garage Store. Every single person we worked with on this project, was a consummate professional. We felt confident and informed every step of the way.

Garage Store was very prompt and arrived at the time they stated each day that they worked at the house. The technicians were polite and professional. Best of all, the floor looks great!

Everything went as planned. They were on time finished as predicted and we couldn't be happier. Everybody that comes to the house and sees the flooring in the garage is impressed on how beautiful it looks. It is easy to clean and hopefully it lasts for a lifetime.

Jim from the Garage Store was fantastic to work with and made great suggestions without trying to push additional costs, and provided us just what we needed in order to stay within our budget.  His team was friendly and professional.  They did a nice job of keeping the work areas clean and neat at the end of each day.  They informed us about when they were starting and leaving as well as any precautions we need to take with the garage.  The team made the entire process easy, simple, and quick (all completed in one week once scheduled). As the pictures show, the transformation was amazing and our garage is now one of the nicest rooms in our home.  Jim’s team is very service oriented.  We cannot be more pleased with the work and the company!!!

I have used the Garage Store for several projects over the years (garage storage system, epoxy garage floor, etc.) and I have always been impressed by their professionalism and quality of work. The project went extremely smooth and I was very satisfied.

All aspects of the installation went extremely well. The team was professional and highly trained and knowledgeable. Jim Melchert, Founder and CEO, was also very involved and made himself available throughout the job. Their communication was excellent and maintained a very tight timetable for themselves which they fulfilled perfectly. The flooring and cabinetry was also of very high quality. This was a complete garage makeover and the results were outstanding. These guys are the equivalent of California Closets for Garages!  The Garage Store receives our highest recommendation.

I recently purchased a 1960s ranch and the garage was a disaster.  The drywall was never mud and taped.  The floor was full of deep cracks and I thought it was to the point it couldn't be fixed.   
Jim and his employees were awesome and explained all the options and what the best course of action would be.  After the weather cooperated and warmed up (some cracks went under the door and outside) they were out right away in early spring.  Even when the temperature dipped back down they let me know exactly what was going on and when they would be able to finish.  They cared more about doing the job right instead of just a pay day.
You would never know my garage was the point I thought I had to gut it for new drywall and deal with the moon crater looking floor forever.  The whole job due to weather delays and the condition of the floors and walls was only a week from disaster to a brochure quality looking garage.  Highly recommend Jim and his guys, they do excellent work.  

I made a difficult ask of these guys. I was closing on a new house and asked them to come in and get the floor in over the weekend between closing on a Friday and when my stuff arrived the next Monday. 
I was warned that the timeline was tight but they said they would do their best to get the job done. The crew was very punctual and polite. Showed up on time and worked their tails off. 
The job did not get done on time but it was not for lack of effort. Instead it was to ensure quality of work (which was excellent). It was a very cold couple of days and so it took longer than normal for the floor to cure. They put a heater in to warm up the surface but it still took longer than hoped. 
While it was an inconvenience that the job was not done on time, I really appreciated their commitment to quality and as I said I was fairly warned and the delay was not for lack of effort. 
While not cheap, I thought their price was fair and the quality of work warranted the cost. 
I will hire them again to put in some garage storage and would recommend them to a friend.

The service was fantastic.  A total of about six workers would come out depending on the day and it took them about five days to complete the job.  I would say they did an outstanding job, prompt, fairly priced and professional.  I have recommend them to friends.

The installer was on time, explained first where and in what configuration he would install the racks, then after he was done installing them, showed us how to put on the hanging hooks. We love the racks and are very satisfied with the installation. We could not have done it ourselves. The cost included 2 large racks and several pairs of hooks as well as installation, so the price was very reasonable.
