i tried to be temperate in my ratings, since the initial experience was great, but i shudder to think what would've happened if we had more major problems with the installation.
Wingren didn't return my call for irrigation system work.
Fast, friendly, and punctual service. I will use them again for Christmas light installations. I am also planning a minor relandscaping and paver sidewalk installation in the front of my townhome. They will be the first company I call.
On Monday evening the lady who called apologized for not getting back to me sooner.
We set up an appointment for Wednesday and I haven't heard from her since.
Over two weeks later (May 21) I called the office and asked for an update and got an email from the rep who told me he was very back logged and had not started my design. He asked if at this point I was still interested in the service. I told him we were still interested.
,Another month went by (June 20) and I still hadn't heard from anyone. I emailed the rep and asked for the status and if they were unable to do the work I requested the copy of my plat of survey be returned. Another four days went by and I didn't have a response. So, I called the office today and spoke with someone who apologized for the lack of communication and was promised that the original rep would get back with me. He did email me later in the day and told me he was still too back logged and could not plan the job. Our plat of survey was returned this afternoon. I get that everyone has their bad days, I understand a lag in communication here and there, but felt forgotten, franklly.
I am extremely disappointed as I had high hopes for the quality of design, work and customer satisfaction I know Wingren provides. We did a lot of research before contacting Wingren. We saw their work, read reviews, etc. The purpose of this review is not based in ill will, but I felt it was necessary to make clear that sadly sometimes folks fall through the cracks even with the most glowing reviews for a given company.
The next day we went out of town, so we didn't contact Wingren until the second week in May. The general manager said he'd have a crew out the following week, since he wanted to make sure we were happy with their work. It took two weeks, but the result is what we expected the first time around. We appreciate them coming back and doing a really nice thorough job.
The grades we gave were based on the two visits combined. Ultimately, they made it right with an excellent quality delivered professional response and result.
We hired them on an ad hoc basis to perform the fall cleanup, and the work was done in a timely manner, and the end results looked better than our grounds have ever looked in the fall. Was so impressed that we decided to hire them for our snow removal, and will give them our entire property this summer for maintenance.
If our home turns out to only look half as good as the entry and common areas of our development I will be pleasingly kicking myself for not having gone with them in the first place.
After a major home remodel in '08 and '09, we had some landscaping done, but it turned out to be way overpriced and the design not so great. We decided that we would "invest" in a company that we were confident we would get quality work out of, so quality trumped price. That being said, we got what we paid for.
After reviewing the design, Matt helped us with some minor changes, and the work went quickly and efficiently. The few very minor glitches were corrected promptly and to our satisfaction.
We will definitely stick with them for any follow up work, and will most probably do a phase 2 in the spring.
