I could not have been more satisfied. It was somewhat urgent as the old plastered ceiling had come loose and was ready to fall. Dan took a look at it and was there the next day. He was very flexible because the electrician had to rewire the light fixture box before they could begin plastering. It was a situation where one thing led to another as often happens with old homes! Dan and his crew were very neat and cleaned everything up.

I contacted Dan Patelka on a Monday and explained that my Wife was coming home from receiving intensive medical care the following Sunday and her bedroom needed extensive plaster repair.  He inspected the room, gave me an estimate and scheduled the work all in the same day.   The work was completed in one day later that week.  Except for the newly plastered walls,  I could not tell that he and his partner were ever there.   I could not have been happier with the final results and Dan's response to my time restraints.  I will certainly give  him a call when I am ready to have two other repairs that I have in mind.

The drywall looks fantastic.  It looks great.  However they had to knock out a lot of plaster before they finished the drywall repair. Perhaps, unbeknownst to them, it fell down the wall and into the basement.  So I had a big mess in my basement and I still haven’t managed to clean it up because it was creating a dust when I tried to sweep it.  So I’ve been thinking that I need to run a machine to clear it up.  I’m not sure that they were aware of that, and unfortunately I did not call them and raise a buzz.  I didn’t notice it for a couple of weeks because I don’t go around that corner of the basement that often.  So I stumbled upon it weeks after they’d done the repair and I didn’t call them on it.  If I’d given them a chance to come back and clean up, they might have done it.  I did not ask though.  I’m very happy with the quality of workmanship and the wall.  They should have known with all that stuff going when they were knocking it out of the wall.  I would definitely use them again in the future if I needed to.

The first time I had them come out and plaster the ceiling they did a wonderful job, very neat, totally sealed off the room so no dust got on the furniture or into other rooms.  When I had another issue with the ceiling  due to a leaky roof I called  and was told someone would be over later that week.  It is two years later and I am still waiting!

We were lucky that we called them when orders were slow in coming.  He came out last week, measured the area needing repair and gave us an estimate.  He came out with a helper the next week.  His work was very well done, and done i n less time that we thought. He was careful to seal off other areas of the house so dust would be confined, and he cleaned up well when he was done.  A pleasant man to work with.

They did a good job. They were very friendly and very professional. I will use them in the future.

We love Dan Pitelka. We first hired him in 1996. On a whim, we made a phone call to see if someone could add plaster molding to our dining room, to match the molding in our living room. We called, he came the next day, made the mold, and then started to work to add this unique feature to our home. He also repaired cracks in various walls. Of course, though, not just anyone could construct and add the molding to our home - and in a totally professional manner. We hired him again to add the same molding to a first floor powder room. along with replastering the walls. Dan is extremly easy to do business with. He is professional, prompt, leaves his bill on a counter or table when he leaves. I can't say enough about working with him.

Dan and his crew did a great job -- their advice and estimate were very accurate. They completed the larger of the rooms first and then the smaller rooms the next day after we moved the furniture to the rooms that were done. They covered the floor and paths thru the house; and cleaned up afterwards. After the work was dry, and then I primed and repainted, it looks great!

We had some cracks in the wall and a place where the water had destroyed a wall. They repaired it along with the ceiling in a couple of days, and their work was excellent.

VERY HELPFUL AND DOES GREAT WORK! BUT SOMEWHAT SLOW TO RETURN PHONE CALLS. BE PATIENT, THEY WILL CALL BACK AND DO AN AWESOME JOB!

BOB PITELKA WAS VERY RESPONSIVE, AND CAME OUT TO GIVE US AN ESTIMATE, THE DAY AFTER I CALLED. HE ALSO GAVE US THE ADVICE TO HAVE THE WINDOWS STAINED, BEFORE THE PLASTER WORK, TO AVOID DAMAGE TO THE WINDOWS. THE TWO GUYS, THAT CAME OUT TO DO THE JOB, WERE THE HARDEST WORKING TEAM WE HAVE EVER SEEN. THEY DIDN'T EVEN STOP FOR A DRINK OF WATER! THEY STAYED LATE TO FINISH THE JOB SO WE WOULDN'T HAVE TO LIVE WITH A MESS OVERNIGHT. CLEAN-UP WAS EXCELLENT. THEIR QUALITY WORK WAS DONE JUST AS PROMISED. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND PITELKA PLASTERING!

THE OWNER CAME TO ASSESS THE JOB THE SAME DAY WE CALLED AND, BY SOME LUCK, THEY WERE ABLE TO DO THE WORK THE NEXT DAY (THEY SAID AT ANOTHER TIME WE MIGHT HAVE TO WAIT A COUPLE OF WEEKS). THE WORK WAS DONE VERY WELL AND, EQUALLY IMPORTANT, THE CLEAN-UP WAS EXCEPTIONAL. IT WAS IMPRESSIVE TO SEE THE ONE IN CHARGE ON HIS HANDS AND KNEES VACUUMING AND SCRUBBING THE FLOOR.

GOOD EXPERIENCE, RECOMMEND THEM.

THE WORK DONE WAS FANTASTIC,(NOTHING WILL SHOW AFTER IT'S PAINTED, I'M SURE), VERY REASONABLY PRICED, AND EVERYTHING WAS CLEANED UP NICELY AFTER THE WORK WAS DONE. MY HOME WAS BUILT AROUND THE 1940'S. BOB PITELKA, HIS SON, DOUG, AND THEIR ASSISTANT ARE VERY EXPERIENCED. THEY DID VERY SKILLED WORK, WORKED QUICKLY, AND TOOK THE TIME TO POLITELY EXPLAIN TO ME WHAT METHOD THEY WOULD USE AND THE STEPS I SHOULD TAKE TO PROPERLY READY THE PLASTERED AREAS PRIOR TO PAINTING. I WAS EXTREMELY PLEASED AND RECOMMEND THEM HIGHLY.

BOB PITELKA AND HIS ASSISTANT DID A BEAUTIFUL JOB RECONSTRUCTING THE WALL, EVEN ADDING INSULATION FOR ME. THEY WERE VERY CONSCIENTIOUS AND NEAT, ONLY TAKING A FEW HOURS TO COMPLETE THE WORK. BOB EVEN WORKED ME INTO THEIR SCHEDULE WITHIN A COUPLE OF DAYS, SHIFTING OTHER JOBS. THIS IS A FAMILY-OWNED COMPANY, AND THEY REALLY KNOW PLASTERING. BOB IS VERY CAREFUL AND PARTICULAR ABOUT THEIR WORK. IT WAS A PLEASURE TO DEAL WITH HIM. ALSO, HIS PRICING WAS *VERY* REASONABLE.

DAN IS VERY PROFESSIONAL AND HIS CREW HAS BEEN A PLEASURE TO WORK WITH ON THESE PROJECTS. IN ADDITION TO STUCCO, THE COMPANY DOES PLASTER WORK.

MR. PITELKA IS A CRAFTSMAN WHO TAKES THE TIME TO DO A PERFECT JOB. THE REPAIRED SECTION OF THE CEILING IS IMPOSSIBLE TO SPOT. ALL PLASTER DEBRIS AND DUST WERE REMOVED.
