Jim and his sons were very professional and went beyond being helpful. They were finished as scheduled. After the project was completed I called Jim back to do a minor fix. He responded within a day.

We could not have been happier with Jim and his crew. He was the most responsive builder that we contacted - we contacted 14 before giving the job to Jim. From the beginning Jim came to our home to measure, inspect and ensure that the project price he was going to provide us was going to meet the details of the work needed. He is very knowledgable of the inspection codes, therefore he provided us with all the information we needed to ensure that we knew what we would need to do in order to remodel our basement. There were areas that had to be updated due to code requirements, and because of his knowledge we did not have any surprises as the project started. Jim was here inspecting the job or doing the work himself on a daily basis. He provided us with an estimate of completion, and stayed within the timeframes he gave us initially. The crafstmanship of his work is amazing! He helped us make wise decisions and used quality materials. Both his sons work with him, and they were delightful to work with. Very professional! Our basement looks like an extension of our upstairs, people are amazed with what he was able to do.

We have a house with low basement ceiling and lots of challenging pipes that Jim and his crew creatively got out of the way without compromising the structure of the house or functionality. Best builder we worked with by far! A month after our basement was completed, we had a leak on a skilight in our family room. We called Jim again. He replaced our skilights and remodel the rest of our family room - we removed an old Franklin Stove and replaced with a contemporary fireplace. Once again, Jim delivered before the weather started to get really bad outside. Our family room looks fantastic.
Jim is easy to talk to, responsive, responsible and just a pleasure to work with. He guarantees his work. We could not recommend him enough. You will be extremely happy with his job!

Jim, the owner, was very responsive when we called him. A few days after we met with him he gave us plans for the project and a detailed estimate for the work.
This turned out to be a tough job. They ran into problems removing the old flagstone stairway (there were concrete stairs under the flagstone) and digging the holes for the new footings for both the deck and the new porch (lots of tree roots and rock). Then they were working outside during the 100 degree plus temperatures we had in July. At the very end of the project we asked for a change in the stairways for the deck and the porch which required tearing off some of the material they had already installed. Jim and his workers were very professional and courteous throughout the entire process. Jim always took time to explain the process and answer questions and was very accommodating to our requests. It was always easy to get in touch with Jim. He answered emails and telephone calls promptly.
We are more than satisfied with the job that was done. The new deck and porch look great!

I had no problems with it. I would recommend them to somebody else. I had other contractors come out and talked to them and he seemed to know what he was talking about. He knew all the answers when I had questions about the permits and stuff while the others hemmed and hawed around and didn't know, and were telling me they could do things that I knew weren't with code. I kind of walked with the guy who was going to keep the city off me. They were actually a couple of hundred dollars cheaper than everybody else. The weather did sometimes prevent them from showing up but it was not their fault, and they called to let me know.
