 + -1 moreCraig promised to be here within 1 hour, and arrived in about 30 minutes. He told me upfront that the charge would be $89 just to come out, plus a charge for getting the door opened (but he could not estimate the charge because he didn't know how difficult it would be.) He said if we wanted him to install a new lockset, he could do that. After he arrived, he got the door opened after about 15 minutes, and installed a new lockset on that door, plus the second one that we requested. He did the work fairly quickly and efficiently and was straightforward and professional. I thought the total price was a little high. He was here for approximately 1 hour, the breakdown on the bill was approximately $200 to open the door with the broken lock (including emergency night rates), and $100 to provide and install each of the Schlage locksets.
Description of Work: Called after business hours to have interior door opened. Had waited all day for another locksmith who failed to show up. Needed service same day, so we agreed to pay overtime charges. Once he was here, we also asked him to replace another lockset that we were concerned might fail.
