carpet installation
 + -1 moreTHE INSTALLER PLACED THE SEAM IN THE MIDDLE OF THE ENTRYWAY WITH A BIG PIECE TO THE LEFT AND A BIG PIECE TO THE RIGHT. THE SEAM DID NOT SHOW MUCH WHEN THEY FINISHED AND HE PROMISED IT WOULD DISAPPEAR SOON. WELL THAT WAS THE BEST THAT IT WOULD EVER BE. THE SEAM SHOWS TERRIBLY. FRIENDS MUST THINK I PUT THE CARPET IN MYSELF. NOW IT IS ALL FRAYED AND HAS BARE RUNS. I WENT TO THE STORE TO ASK FOR REPAIRS (BEFORE THE FRAYS) AND THEY HAD A GUY COME OUT AND AXIALLY BEAT IT DOWN WITH A HAMMER, THEN IRONED IT. IT LOOKED "BETTER" FOR ABOUT TWO DAYS. I CAN'T KEEP COMPLAINING BECAUSE ITS NOT WORTH TAKING OFF A WORK DAY FOR THESE IDIOTS TO DO A NON-REPAIR. FURTHERMORE THE CARPET, WITH THEIR HIGH PAR RATING IS ABSOLUTE TRASH.
Description of Work: BOUGHT AND HAD INSTALLED CARPETING.

 + -1 moreTHIS WAS A GREAT EXPERIENCE. TWO GUYS ON DUTY KNEW EXACTLY WHAT I NEEDED AND WERE MORE THAN WILLING TO HELP FIND IT AND LOAD IT. WHEN I WONDERED ABOUT ANOTHER STYLE AND ANOTHER PRODUCT THEY DIDN'T HAVE IN STOCK THEY TOOK THE TIME TO FIGURE OUT WHICH STORE HAD IT ON THE COMPUTER AND THEN CALLED THE STORES DIRECTLY TO CONFIRM. I WISH EVERY TRIP TO HOME DEPOT WAS THIS SMOOTH!
Description of Work: WE WENT TO THIS STORE TO BUY COUNTER TOPS AND IN STOCK CABINETRY.

 + -1 moreCOMPANY THEY PROVIDED CAME TO OUR HOUSE AND TOOK MEASUREMENT FOR DOOR WE HAD CHOSEN AT STORE. SERVICE PERSON NEEDED A LITTLE PROMPTING TO MAKE SURE THEY INSTALLED THE DEADBOLT ON THE STORMDOOR, WHICH THEY WEREN'T GOING TO BOTHER TO DO. THE DOOR HANDLE KEEPS GETTING HARDER TO OPEN AND ADJUST, AFTER ABOUT 6 MONTHS ONLY.
Description of Work: HAD OLD DOOR AND STORM DOOR REMOVED AND NEW ONES INSTALLED.
