FTD.com

The flowers were delivered on time. However, they didn't deliver what I paid for.  The flowers were supposed to come with a clear glass vase that I paid extra for.  There was no vase delivered with the flowers.  I contacted FTD to let them know that I didn't receive the vase.  They still haven't responded or refunded the cost of the vase.  They also advertised the flowers to only cost $39.99.  They didn't tell you until the end of the checkout that there was also a $17.00 service fee on top of the delivery fee.

My friend ordered and paid for flowers to be delivered by my birthday.  
They never showed up, no card, no letter, no call, no E-mail.  That was 12/3/2015.  It is now 12/18/2015.
Since it was a gift I don't know how much she paid for it. 

FTD does a nice job of delivering quality flowers in a sturdy box upon online order.  My mom loved the sunflowers.

Flowers were not delivered on Valentine's day as promised. Spent hours on the phone VDAY evening - only to be told the FLORIST rejected the order and FTD had not successfully replaced the order with another local florist. Eventually received a refund from FTD.COM CUST SVC VP.
Placed another order for 4/2014 anniversary.  Called CUST SVC VP to verify that the arrangement would be delivered as requested.  Also confirmed that the order would not be substituted. This order was delivered as promised - but wrong arrangement delivered.  I ordered and paid for the LARGEST size .. I received smaller size.  Eventually received a refund from CUST SVC VP for this order, too.
My recommendation : STAY AWAY FROM FTD.COM !!! Find a local florist and work with them directly to ensure you get what you paid for.
I have always had good luck using ANGIES LIST for my other needs.  I didn't think to check FTD.COM here (as well as YELP).  

I contacted www.ftd.com on 10/09/2013 to order flowers for my wife's birthday on 10/14/2013. They have 1 job, deliver flowers on the requested date. They failed to preform this one task. The single thing they succeeded in was prompt billing for services not preformed. When I contacted their customer service I told they were very sorry, but would I like a free upgrade and a delivery on another date in lue of a refund?
They failed to provide the services they were paid for, and failed miserbily at service after the fact.
Of course I learned the hard way, never use www.ftd.com

I ordered a hydrangeas bouquet in a Vera Wang vase on FTD.com for a friend who just had a baby. I paid $52.85 plus a $40 Groupon I had purchased for $20.
I went to visit the friend in the hospital on the same day the flowers were delivered and noticed that the flowers were brown around the edges and the leaves were wilted and droopy. I was quite embarrassed.
Furthermore, the vase the bouquet was delivered in was not the Vera Wang vase that was pictured on the FTD website.
I called FTD the next day and requested a full or partial refund.  I told them I did not want the flowers redelivered because I was already embarrassed and didn't want to draw more attention to the wilted flowers. I emailed two photos of the wilted flowers in the wrong vase to a manager at FTD.
A few hours later I received a voice-mail from FTD telling me that the delivering florist took it upon themselves to redeliver the bouquet in the correct vase, something I specifically said I did not want to happen.
I called back and was told that FTD would give me a 25% refund. I felt this was fair. However, they refused to give me the name of the florist who delivered the flowers, stating that they have a privacy policy of some sort.
I will not be ordering flowers from FTD.com again. Although their phone customer service is good, the florists they use are sub par and deliver flowers of poor quality.

The flowers never showed up.  Had to cancel the order.

They guaranteed that the flowers would be delivered Monday afternoon.  The funeral was on Tuesday.  Come to find out the flowers were never delivered.  FTD called the flower shop to see if they could get them to deliver the flowers to the home of the family.   They said they would.  Sure enough they didn't show up.  Finally I had to ended up canceling the order because they never got there.
