I have worked with Dawn a few times over the past 5 when I needed help refreshing a room. She has provided advice on paint colors, or shared ideas on furniture/carpet choices, art prints or how best to arrange items for display. She is a pleasure to work with and very responsive when I call.

Dawn was such a pleasure to work with. I have spent the last couple years hoarding paint chips and pulling my hair out trying to find colors that would update our home but work with what we have. Since we were about to put in a brand new wood floor, it seemed like I finally had to make a decision that would coordinate with a new floor as well. Dawn came to the house (with a mask) prepared with tons of paint samples. Through having me fill out a questionnaire prior to her arrival, showing me some pictures, and listening to my descriptions of the feel I was looking for, she quickly and efficiently narrowed down the paint palette. We discussed a bunch of other issues besides paint colors and I welcomed her perspective on what were priorities, keeping budget in mind. After the session she sent me a detailed email with pictures, links to resources, and step by step directions on how to go about certain projects. I so appreciated her organization, and efficiency in providing me with the details I needed. I will definitely use her again! Thanks Dawn!

It was a wonderful experience. We were redecorating and needed some help as I really hate making these types of decisions, Dawn was fabulous to work with, she spent two hours going from room to room, making paint, lighting, picture selections then summarized all her ideas in an email. We received large paint swatches two days later along with websites that connected to various products we had looked at. Really appreciated the help as this was a small job. I will definitely use her again!

We liked Dawn's concepts and the way she engaged us in thinking about new ideas for each of our rooms. The renderings she did for us were very helpful. The only negative I can say is that it took far, far longer than promised for her to get back to us. Dawn did acknowledge the service was not up to her usual standards due to other circumstances and offered to waive the balance due. This was a nice gesture but we did pay in full feeling that what she delivered (albeit late) was worth the price we paid.

When Dawn was here for the consultation, she was good. She hung several items for us, and helped us understand what size pieces of furniture we should be looking for. She was supposed to get us a proposed floor plan for a room, which she did - albeit a couple of weeks later than she said she would. The floor plan was nearly identical to our existing floor plan. She was also supposed to get us information about suggested cabinet knobs and lighting, which she did not. She offered to meet us at a flooring store to select flooring, but never responded to my requests to set that up. It was like she dropped off the face of the earth. I referred her to a friend right after our initial meeting for a design consultation (because at first I was really thrilled to have found her). Her experience was similar to mine. She was great while she was there but didn't provide what she promised as a follow-through. I struggled whether to review her because I was initially so pleased with her, but what good is Angie's List if we only give rosy reviews, right? The bottom line is I believe Dawn is talented but fails to deliver on her promises. I would recommend her if someone is only looking for someone to come to your house to give you advice right then, but I would sadly not recommend her for ongoing projects.

It was very easy to reach Dawn via telephone and to set up a convenient appointment. We wanted to remove all of our '90s wallpaper from the Living and DIning Rooms, Kitchen, and Foyer and replace it with an updated paint palette that worked with our current possessions. Dawn was able to quickly pull together colors that worked for us. At our request, she also offered some good ideas for lighting and window coverings. She really tries to come up with a look that reflects you and is not driven by trends. Dawn is a very down to earth person and I highly recommend her.

Dawn did a great job of using our furniture and art to change the look of our spaces from blah to beautiful. She captured our style and provided wall color advice, furniture placement and art and knick knack arrangement.
She is hands-on, moving furniture, hanging pictures and arranging display shelves. She later emailed computer generated images of our great room with different rugs and artwork that she had sourced for us.
She was only in our home for about four hours and we still marvel at the difference she made using our existing furniture.
We like her style and will use her in the future and recommend her to family and friends.

Dawn has been a tremendous help with the design of our home renovations! We were a bit overwhelmed with the idea of trying to update our home ourselves. After watching countless hours of HGTV and attending a few home renovation conventions, we had no idea where to start. We came across Dawn’s information and initially, we just wanted her help with the wall color selection for our kitchen, but ended up getting much more! She helped us create a cohesive design scheme throughout our house from the kitchen to our bathrooms and laundry room. She was able to take a look at our home decorating style and translate that into something more modern and fresh – something that we had been struggling with! She even gave us advice on easy ways we could restructure the different rooms that we initially thought would be way out of our price range. The best part is that Dawn has a keen eye for pulling the whole look together in a cohesive budget-friendly way. Moving forward, we will definitely be calling her any time we get the itch to upgrade a different part of our home.

Dawn is simply Wonderful! We are remolding our home, starting with the kitchen. Our new counter tops had arrived and I was less than thrilled with the color. I went to Angie's list hoping to find someone that could help us by picking a paint and tile to tie it all together. Lucky for me Dawn had a cancellation and came right over. Within minutes she had suggested a several options and now it looks beautiful. She has an eye for detail, color and knew right away what style and colors would work. We would not only recommend Dawn we plan on using her expertise for the rest of the home She was professional and friendly even when I was having a hard time making a decision. I loved all of her ideas including furniture placement and cannot wait to have her back. Dawn is truly turning our new house into a home.

Dawn was excellent. She was responsive, professional and courteous. Within minutes of walking into my home, she was able to "get" my style and preference and quickly jump into recommendations/brainstorming. This made our time together extremely efficient. Dawn not only had great recommendations that fit my style and budget but she was very prompt in her follow up. After our meeting, she took our ideas and provided images of what the different light fixtures, carpets, etc would look like in my current home. These images were a huge help to me in making the final decisions. I truly enjoyed working with Dawn and would not hesitate to recommend her.

Dawn was able to squeeze me in the very next morning after I called. She was professional and friendly even when I was having a hard time making a decision. With a new house with a unique configuration and dimensions I was stumped about the best layout ad how to get started furnishing the house. Dawn came in and asked me a lot of questions about how we would plan to use the space, what we liked about it and our current furniture. She then provided several options for how we could place furnature in the rooms, including approximate dimensions of furnature, rugs and chairs. She also came up with some paint options. With her guidance, I no longer feel overwhelmed!

Dawn came to our home for interior design and decorating ideas. Dawn had incredible ideas and gave me tips for every single room in my house. She suggested paint colors, furniture placement, kitchen upgrades, lighting, bathroom improvements, pictures for my walls, and additional decorative items for me to buy. She was very nice to work with, listened to every member in my family and had a lot of energy and passion to help us make our home a place that we will all love! As Dawn walked from room to room in our house, she took notes, carried around her iPad to quickly show us ideas and also used her measuring tape a lot of determine the size of furniture and spaces. After Dawn?s visit, she then sent me an email summarizing her recommendations with links to the exact items that she recommended. It was amazing because she knew our style and measurements in our house and could quickly point us to these items. I was impressed with Dawn and will definitely ask her to visit our home again.

WOW! She is BANK of IDEA and INFORMATION! She consulted for : whole house paint color, relocating our existing furniture and additional decorative items to buy within very reasonable cost. After verbal suggestions, she did send the follow-up email what was discussed in my home. Easy to follow and I ordered suggested decorative items. She came again to set up our furniture and art works before inviting brokers for the interview. I interviewed 3 agents, all of them marbled our choice of paint color as well as my townhome appears very roomy. We will put this home in the test next week, I believe it will go fast. Great job Dawn!

I am so glad we contacted Dawn to work as our decorator. She didn't take over the project; she guided, consulted and even tutored us on all the decision making. She let me know that she would be just as involved as I wanted her to be, and reminded me that we have to live here, so everything should come from our taste and style. I know that I have no experience with interior decorating, and so I was very nervous making color decisions, not to mention ordering expensive custom made furniture that could not be returned! I relied very heavily on her for the main floor rooms, which turned out beautifully, reflecting our personality and taste so well. She even helped me to design our front room around an art piece that was, for me, really challenging to match in style. It was a very textured piece and Dawn helped us find just the right furniture that complimented it. We love to entertain in our place, and I am so grateful to have found someone who could help us achieve our goals without overextending our budget. I can't recommend her enough!

Dawn helped choose paint colors for all the rooms in our house which we recently purchased. She seems to have a good vision of what colors would look good in each room, but also took into account the intensity of color we are comfortable with. This will save me hours of angst at the paint store! I've had to have a few rooms re-painted in the past due to wrong color choices, so having professional input upfront was important. She also gave me some ideas about furniture size & placement. I plan to have her come again to help further with decorating.
She left samples of all colors chosen and followed up with a diagram on furniture placement and instructions on repainting a vanity. I enjoyed meeting her--she is down-to-earth and fun to work with. I highly recommend her services.
