We hired Mike to paint our basement ceiling black, and he did an outstanding job! From the beginning, we had a clear and upfront agreement on both the scope of work and the costs. Mike completed the project smoothly and on time, with no issues or delays. He also made sure to clean up thoroughly after finishing the painting. I also asked him the day of if he could quote me on the trim and not only did he quote me but he also did it the same day. Unbeknownst to me, he went ahead and replaced all of my vent, outlet and light switch coverings b/c not only did they need to be replaced but that's how he operates: like a thoughtful professional. I am ecstatic about the look of my newly painted family room and was even able to enjoy it the same day he started. Mike did a great job. He patched several gaps in the drywall and covered some water stains on the ceiling. The whole house looks fantastic.

Mike, was phenomenal.  He and his crew first started by painting the entire interior of our home - about 2100 sq. ft.  We also had crown molding installed in the entire home at the same time -- the work was exceptional.. Mike and his crew were fast, professional and priced very competitively.  We decided to sell our home and I mentioned to Mike that I needed to remodel my bathrooms.  I had several bids that were as high as $25,000 , when Mike mentioned that he could handle the remodels we were jumped at the opportunity and Mike not only handled the remodeling of both bathrooms but made cost saving recommendations along the way.  Additionally, we had Mike power wash our deck and stain it all in a day -- the house looks great -- the work was the best we have ever had and Mike is a very talented individual.  Do yourself a favor and at least talk to Mike for your interior needs (painting, Carpentry etc.)

Mike was excellent to deal with from start to finish. Very professional in making sure his work area is clean before, during and after completion. There are places that got missed and spots untouched. I wish the guys had taken doors off hinges,  and removed window coverings  instead of painting around them. 

I am really happy with the work Mike at Eco Pro did with our house. We closed on our house and had about 90% of the interior painted and had some exterior paint done as well and it all turned out wonderfully. From coming out for our quote to going over the final punch list Mike was very responsive and on top of everything. We had a lot in motion - with getting our floors stained and organizing our move and Mike and his workers worked with us through all of it to get the job done.
We had different colors in each bedroom and two different colors for the main rooms. Paint colors are so overwhelming and I was struggling with what colors for our main areas and Mike took the time to come out and consult me on the colors. I went back and forth a lot and he put samples up for me to look at and was very patient as I decided.
His workers were friendly and professional. Mike was quick to respond and get back to us whenever we had any questions.
We had several quotes for interior and exterior paint to be done prior to moving into our home. Mike's quote was not the highest or the lowest but I appreciated the communication and the time he took to answer my questions and so we decided to go with Eco Pro and I am glad we did. We will be finishing our basement and painting the back area of our house down the road and I will def call and hire Mike again. We have already referred him to our realtor to pass along to her clients and another couple that recently moved, very happy with Mike and his work.

They did a great job.  There were some paint requirements whereby the paint could not be sourced in Chicago.  Mike took care of everything...the company shipped the wrong color for one of the rooms and he handled the whole transaction and didn't charge me any extra.  Use them and you will be happy you did!  I have already referred them to a friend.

Received a couple of quotes from others. One was way off , but they wanted to rip out and replace the ceiling which was not necessary. I got the quote Monday and they came and painted Wednesday. Fast efficient and great work. Cleanup after themselves and the house did not have an over powering paint smell

Mike Nichols' painting is beautiful! (We are very detailed, perfectionist types when it comes to our house). If you find any imperfections or adjustments needed he'll make them immediately. His seams are perfect and everything just looks great. We've done two houses with him, he is definitely our painter. He works with two other guys and their work is amazing too. They are clean too---no shoes, careful with drop cloths, they go slowly and meticulously. He wasn't our lowest estimate but not our highest either.

I don't remember the cost, except that it was very fair!!  I got several quotes to put in drop ceilings and to paint the ceiling.  A few of the painters I talked to didn't really seem to have much experience spraying ceilings.  However, it seemed like a no-brainer for Mike...something he did all the time.  Additionally, he was the most reasonably priced.  Painting was cheaper then putting in a drop ceiling as well.  He did a fabulous job.  He was able to cover everything/get in between pipes and in the crevices and between the joists.  The black spray-painted celing looks very cool.  It does NOT make the ceiling seem lower, but the opposite - it feels open.  He did the work very quickly and was done sooner than I expected (less than a day).  I am writing this review almost a year after the job was done - it still looks great - just like new.  I would highly recommend Mike.

This was my second time using Mike.  He once again did a fantastic job.  Quality was excellent.  He worked efficiently and was very nice/personable.  Price was very fair.  Would definitely recommend and use him again.

They did a good job. It was very well priced. There were quite a few things we weren't quite happy with but for the most part it was good.

I hired Mike from EcoPro Painting after receiving two other estimates for ceiling painting including fixing water damage on the ceiling and around sky lights.  Mikes' estimate was lower then the other two and he was the only one willing to include painting the trim on a skylight that was neglected when it was installed.  They did a great job, cleaned up and completed the work in one day. I would definitely hire them again.

My wife met with Mike and was impressed by his attention to detail regarding the work required.  We had old knotty pine paneling painted over, which is not an easy task, and Mike's team did a great time.  We were given the choice of caulking some of the defects or leaving them for "character", something that was not address by some of the other bids we received.  The price was very competitive and in the end we were very pleased with the work.  If we need require painting, we will be sure to give Mike a call.  Our house looks great, thanks Mike!

They did a beautiful, spotless job. We love the paint, and plan to call them again in the future to paint our downstairs. I had decided to paint the bedrooms myself to save some money, but now that I've finally finished that project a week and a half after Eco Pro finished their work, I really wish I would have just hired them to paint everything on the upper floor of the house. Their work looks much better, they were quick, polite, friendly, and professional. Next time I will hire them to do it all! They were in and out in 2 days.

This is the third time that I have used this company because I have been very happy in the past.  This time not so much.  There are a couple of spots on the kitchen ceiling that were missed and there was a ding in the wall in the bathroom that they never bothered to patch before painting.  The walls in my bathroom had a treatment with stripes--it is a very small room and took the painter the entire day to do this room but you can still see the stripes.  Mike had explained that it would be difficult to get rid of the lines so at first, I thought I was just stuck with those lines.  But I have the same treatment in my master bath that is currently under renovation and that painter was able to get a beautiful smooth finish without any lines and spent the same amount of time on a bathroom that is 4 times the size of the powder room. 
They have always been so meticulous in the past but this time my door handle was covered in paint (and still is) and one of my canvas paintings has a big dibble of paint right in the middle of it.  Needless to say, I was a little disappointed.
