Garage door:
After I had purchased the door Cliff Dienberg picked it up and brought it over to install. His friend Rick arrived shortly thereafter and together they installed the door within an hour. After his friend departed, Cliff then painted the door. As the paint was drying, he repaired one of the two cedar siding panels and by late afternoon the project was finished.
Library:
Cliff had purchased some oak panels to expand the library shelves across the entire width of the wall (they had been built covering only half the wall when the house was built). Unfortunately, he had purchased red oak when, in fact, the original shelves were made of white oak. This would cause a noticeable color difference when stained. He had to order new wood which took a few days to arrive. He and his friend Rick measured everything then built the shelves in Cliff's garage and stained them there. By the time I returned from a short business trip, the shelves were ready to install. Cliff and Rick arrived at 9:00am and everything was installed by 2:00pm. Cliff took a sample of one of the original shelves to a paint store and they matched the color perfectly. After the shelves were installed, Cliff and Rick repaired the other cedar siding damage and this took less than half an hour.
Overall, the quality of the work was excellent and I was pleased with the results.
We used Dienberg Contractors before to repair some damage at my late father-in-law's house as we were preparing to sell it. The good quality of the work there prompted us to use him again.
The and quot;Band quot; rating on professionalism is due to the fact that construction work is Dienberg's second career which, I gather, began more as a hobby. He does not have a crew, as such, but calls up associates who are skilled in various things like carpentry or tile laying when he needs them. The business is run in a friendly, casual way. I had talked to him about redoing our master bath and he was unaware of certain products on the market which I had researched. He also will not deal with installing windows. For that reason I did not use him to upgrade my kitchen last year since it involved installing a new window. However, if the job involves what I would call and quot;handymanand quot; work then I would not hesitate to recommend him since the quality of his work is excellent and the price is reasonable.

We were not present to see the work, but we heard back from Dad and his caregivers that Cliff was extremely courteous and professional.

I had water damage in my kitchen and was only going to replace the ceiling and drywall. But as these things go I ended up with a complete remodel. Cliff got my electrical and plumbing up to code and installed the new cabinets besides the original ceiling and drywall which came out perfect. He basically designed a brand new kitchen for me and it is awesome. He checked in often to get my opinion and helped me when I had no idea what to do. He always showed up on time and told me exactly what he was working on that day. The workers he brought with him were all professional. I never felt uncomfortable having these guys in my house. I highly recommend Dienberg and Sons for any remodeling project, inside or outside.
