He is an absolute artist and incredible painter, however, the experience was awful.  I eventually found out that he had stolen from me.  At first I couldn't be 100% sure so I didn't want to make assumptions.  He was the only other one in the house other than my wife and I so I had my suspicions.  After doing some research I found out that he is under parole.  It all started in Florida back in 2007.  I found out that he had spent 2 year in prison for grand theft and then in 2009 he was back in court and went back to prison for pre-meditated murder.  He got off early on technicality because of a mistake the prosecutor had made.  Apparantly he moved up here afterwards to get away from the heat.

I then found out in December of 2010 he was arrested again for killing a dog.  After all this research I had a bad feeling and figured it had to be him that stole from me.  He eventually went to the police, admitted it, and returned some of the items that he stole.  We were then supposed to come to a restitution.  He was a no-show.  After this he would never answer my calls.  I would call and he would ignore it, then I would have my neighbor call a few minutes later and he would pick it right up.  He was obviously avoiding me.  

Had I done all of this research before I hired him, there is no way I would have ever let him in my house.  Now he is about to move away again.
