CMS did a terrific job of landscaping our yard and improving our patio, so that the area is much more useable and is more aesthetically pleasing.  Scott was very responsive, very professional, and great to work with.  We are in discussions to make more improvements next Spring which may include lighting, irrigation, and expanded plant beds.  We were very pleased.

They do very good work.  They are very knowledgeable and true professionals.  They will work in any situation.

We met with 2 other companies before meeting with Scott at CMS. Scott was by far the most creative in developing solutions and making recommendations designed to make our brick paver patio first class. It's clear that he enjoys the work that he does and he was really engaged in the process of designing the layout. His attention to detail was amazing. We went through a few iterations of the layout before finalizing the plan. Scott was very patient and provided us with 3D diagrams of the entire space so we could visualize the layout. We ended up designing a large brick paver patio surrounded by a sitting wall with four pillars with with outdoor lighting. The patio also features a built in firepit, an area for entertaining that is wired with electric and cable tv, a water feature, and a grilling/outdoor kitchen area. Scott holds himself and his team to a very high standard of quality to ensure the work they do will withstand the test of time and will be state of the art. It is clear when you watch the CMS team that they are true craftsman and are not trying to rush through the job. CMS is also able to provide you with ample references so that you can view their work prior to hiring them. Their pricing was very fair relative to the other companies that gave us quotes but I can't imagine the other companies doing all of the little extras that CMS does along the way. As a result, you really feel like you have gotten good value for your money when hiring CMS. Scott is hands-on and was at the job site every day to ensure everything was done to his expectations. He also has an electrician on his team (Russ) who was able to assist in designing a layout that utilizes electric for the patio in a way so that you can control it at your fingertips. The team is very conscientious in terms of cleaning up the worksite each day and are respectful of your property and that of your neighbors. We were very pleased with our choice to use CMS and many people have complimented us on the first class job that they did. We would definitely recommend using CMS.

Scott at CMS Landscapes was excellent. He was very knowledgeable on landscape design and the appropriate types of shrubs/trees for the surrounding area. He worked with us on design of the patio and was amenable to the changes we wanted to the design. Overall, a very good experience and we would recommend him to others.

Everything went great. Their job was very professional and very clean. They were very clean and that was one thing that we were very impressed with. The one thing was that I did try and get a hold of the principal person who had done the work for us and he never got back to me so it was a little difficult to get in touch with him. The communication was difficult after the project was completed. I had some other work that I wanted done and I emailed him and he never got back to me. I also tried calling and he never got back to me. It was either he was very busy so he was not responsive but their work was first class. They were a little bit expensive compared to other companies that we looked at. I would use them again in the future if I could get a callback.

We had a unique issue that we wanted to solve and starting calling landscapers based off recommendations. We had obtained 5 bids. We needed a patio built with a dam wall surrounding it to keep water from our backyard from reaching our home. The other companies we talked to overlooked our ideas and provided bids based on their own ideas and bolstering the price of the project. Enter Scott from CMS. He was very flexible in meeting with us and came out fairly quickly. We told him our issues and after looking at our land, thought our idea (which was also discussed with hydrologic engineers) was a good one. He put together a bid which was very reasonable and represented what we wanted along with some suggestions we liked. He had the work started promptly and he and his crew were very clean and professional. We are very happy with the final product and love our new patio! We recommend Scott and CMS to anyone looking for quality and class and someone who actually listens to you!

Working with CMS was a very positive experience. The owner, Scott, was very helpful with suggesting plantings and very knowledgeable. We have 2 dogs and didn't want to invest money into a flower bed that they were going to destroy. Scott had some great suggestions and 1 year later we have gorgeous ground cover and shrubs that look great. The brickwork for the knee wall was also done very well. The crew was friendly and cleaned up after themselves.
