On time. It took the entire afternoon. I deal with the owner directly, Matt. He was great. They work on the entire vehicle: mechanical, electrical, alignment, extension, brakes, maintenance, all that. They were thorough about it. They gave me a multi-point checklist and inspection. It was like they never went in there in the first place, brand new.

The most important thing to me with the mechanic is honesty. So, I feel like they're confident and honest. Another thing I like about them is they're civic minded or the mechanic/the owner and his wife are advocates of, there is this one charity that they work for, they run marathon whose job for building wells in Africa, World Vision I think I think it's called. Something like that. And, I think it truly admirable that they do that. And if you donate to this charity, they'd give you a break on your bill. It was pretty cool. They're not your typical business people. They're good people.

They're honest and get out of their way to do extra things for you even things that they don't normally do, just went above and beyond. The repair does not cost as much as they quote you and will not charge the amount that they quoted you. They're usually pretty busy.

Did a search on reviews for automotive repair a year or 2 ago for my Matrix. Saw they had good reviews, so gave them a try even though we have 2 other automotive places we use closer to home that are pretty good. These guys are great. Can't say enough good things about them. They will be the first people we contact in the future. Do yourselves a favor and call TrueTech for your automotive needs.

They did a great job. I liked everything about the experience. They were very forthcoming in identifying the problem with the car and stepping forward with repairing the problem with the car.

If you require honesty and fairness in your auto servicer, Matt and Pete are a safe bet. They listen to your priorities and long-term plans for your vehicle and offer solutions that are appropriate. If you require work that they feel that they cannot price competitively, they will refer you to someone else they trust. Who else does that? Their labor pricing is significantly lower than the dealers, the used car place with initials CM (where they came from after becoming disenchanted with their practices at the time), and many of the local recognizable providers who have better street exposure and/or do a lot of advertising. For parts, they will contact at least three suppliers to get the best price (unless they already know who that will be).
The only thing you may encounter is the wait. If you need service NOW, you may have to wait a few days because they are busy giving everybody else the same level care they will provide you. There are
My most recent visit was part 3 in a series of events to keep my exhaust alive till I get rid of my crappy Contour.
(Part 1) On the first visit they welded two pipes AND gave me a significant price break because they had just bought a new welder and needed a guinea pig to do training for it. Who else does that? No one around here -- they all replace full exhaust only.
(Part2) The second break required more work, so they sent me to a local place they trusted that was consistently better on price. But that place had new management, and they attempted to rip me off. So back to TrueTech where they found a section of pipe that fit my pipes and bridged the break. They welded it on, saving me significant $$$.
(Part 3) This time the break was bad and parts were hanging low. The quote was $640 -- $440 was for the part to replace a flex pipe. At this point I'm considering ditching the car despite low miles. Even though I wasn't going to do the work, Pete re-installed a couple pipe hangers to keep it from getting dangerous, no charge. Who does that?
I did a quick Google search and found the flex pipe from a Canadian custom manufacturer on eBay for $65. I emailed it to TrueTech saying and quot;I know you guys are typically not competitive on exhaust price so I thought you might like to know about a supplier that might be able to help you. Coming to pick up the car.and quot;. When I got there they said, and quot; That's the part we were looking for!and quot; Their suppliers, three of the U.S. majors, all sold flex pipes with the catalytic converter (which I didn't need) attached and told them that it was the only way to get the flex pipe. If the guys spent all day Googling they'd never get any work done so they just gave me the best price they could find, but said if I ordered the one on eBay and it truly fit, they would put it on for $130 max.
So because TrueTech was open to working with me on this, I ordered the part, they installed it quickly and seamlessly, my total cost dropped from $640 to $183, and everybody was happy with the result. Who else does that?

My brother brought in his F250 truck when they first opened the business and talked over a needed repair that was too complicated for my brother to do himself. He was very satisfied with the work and the professionalism of the two owners, so he recommended the business to me. Truetech has since worked on all of our family cars as noted above and keep them it great working order for a reasonable price. When my Fiance received an estimate to do a/c work on his 1998 Ford Countour from a shop in another town, I suggested he take it to TrueTech. They made a significantly less expensive repair that made more sense with an older car with high mileage. I recently bought a used 1994 chevy caprice and asked Truetech to check it out in order to negotiate the price. I got a great deal and Truetech replaced the shocks and fixed the A/C to get it into beautiful running condition. My experience with the two owners, Mat Merkel and Pete Nikolakakis, has always been good. They explain the recommended course of action, cost and time frame and then deliver with quality.

Pete and Matt are rare individuals in the auto business...they are honest, talented, and fair gentlemen. They provide first class service at reasonable prices. I especially recommend using TrueTech for "real" work (i.e. other than routine oil changes) because Pete and Matt are superb mechanics and their work is fairly priced. Given how expensive dealer service has become (especially for my Saab and BMW), I'm grateful for TrueTech.
