It was great. Richard was VERY meticulous in writing up the contract, including all the details so there would be no questions about who was doing what and what costs were. He and his assistant removed the old door and installed the new one in a few hours while I was at work. He needed to make some adjustments to the door headers to fit the new jamb, but ALL the details were taken care of. It was a VERY good job.

nice, came promptly for estimate, friendly and knowledgeable, did work in timeline and service was preformed to quality that i wanted. would use again.....

Richard was very helpful in walking me through this project (and I needed it). He made excellent l suggestions and explains things well. He is very professional, patient and understanding. Richard and his workers did a outstanding job. Very neat. Very trustworthy. Price was ver reasonable. I would highly recommend them.

He did a really good job. I asked him to install the door, he offered to paint the door and do other things on the door but i did that myself. The door is nice and leveled. I can't complain.

Richard worked with us on every step of the project, offering his expertise and knowledge of resources to insure we got the bathroom we envisioned. Tony and all other construction workers take pride in their work. It is done precisely, and the workplace is left clean every day. We are completely satisfied with the beautiful bathroom we now have.

Richard and Tony are simply the best. They took our dreadful kitchen (circa 1980) and transformed it into a beautiful, open, functional living space. Richard gave us a basic plan -- which we expanded greatly both before the work began, and then several times again, while the work was being done. At all points during the remodel, Richard was responsive to every change we proposed. Sometimes he disagreed with our ideas, but in every case we would talk it out and come to some kind of realistic agreement of what could be done. Richard's carpenter, Tony, was amazing. He kept the house immaculate through the entire remodel, and dealt with all kinds of unexpected challenges. For example, our ceilings are uneven, and we wanted the crown moulding on our cabinets to reach the ceiling. That meant Tony had to do all kinds of microscopic adjustments and tricky miters to the moulding to get it to work with both the level cabinets and the uneven ceiling. Somehow he worked his magic, and it looks marvelous. No one who looks at our kitchen would have any idea of the lengths to which Tony made it look perfect. It's that kind of "invisible" workmanship that helped our kitchen turn out so beautifully. Tony is a true professional. Communication was a bit difficult with Tony, because of the language barrier, but Richard was readily available to translate on a daily basis. Both Richard and Tony were punctual and attentive -- every single day. And -- again -- the workspace was immaculate -- every single day. Our only (minor) difficulty had to do with our backsplash tile. We bought a certain kind of tile, but Richard really didn't want to install it because he said it was much more difficult to install than normal tile. We ended up compromising, but we wish we hadn't. (We probably should have just had someone else install it.) But that's the ONLY negative thing I can think of! I have a colleague at work who finished a kitchen remodel (in Chicago) shortly before I started mine. She warned me that the process would be extremely stressful, with unexpected problems and expenses, and our house would be a constant dusty mess. Throughout our remodel, she and I would compare notes, and she was always amazed at how smoothly our job was going. It made me realize how very lucky we were to have Richard and Tony for this major remodel, and we will definitely use them again in the future!

The job went great. Richard and his fantastic crew did a thorough, professional job. They were exceptionally neat!!!!!!!!!!! And everything went so well. I highly recommend this company and I will use Richard for any other work I have to have done in my house!!! I will be thrilled to recommend him to my neighbors and friends. We needed a wider opening between our kitchen and dining room, which required removing part of a load bearing wall, installing a three-way switch, repairing the wood flooring, framing the new opening. Richard Wysocki was very professional, he responded to my phone call the same day and provided me with a very firm, detailed and reasonable estimate. They were flexible on the dates that we needed the project completed. The guys who came to do the job were very punctual, they worked really hard and they took really good care in keeping the rest of the area covered and protected and did a great job of cleaning up after they were finished. We are very happy with the way they worked and very pleased with the final result. Our next project is to redo our kitchen and when we are ready to do so, we definitely plan on calling them again!

The price was reasonable and fair. They were concerned about doing a good job. Very trustworthy!!!

We needed rotten wood replaced on a coach house that was being painted. There were several exterior spots that had to be dealt with, and several types of finishes?cedar shingles, window sills, garage door frame. Richard arrived within a couple of days of my request, submitted a quote right away, then finished the job quickly. We had a second issue on our house where rotten wood needed to be replaced. This time we needed to coordinate with the roofer. Once again, he submitted a quote right away, removed the rotten wood and prepared the area for the roofer, then returned to finish the job as soon as the roofers were done. His workers are polite and extremely meticulous. Both jobs were well done, and the price was fair. He even fixed the door knob and lopsided storm door at our front entrance at no charge! A pleasure to deal with from start to finish.

The team did a great job. Contact response time was quick and they were thorough with their work.

I was very pleased with my experience with Richard. He installed an extractor fan in my bathroom ceiling which required electrical work and coring out through the brick wall for the vent, in addition to the actual installation of the fan itself. From my first message and prompt reply, to the thorough estimate and wonderful work and clean up. It was a most satisfying experience. He and his crew were prompt, courteous, skilled and did excellent work. Robert

Excellent! Mr. Wysocki came and evaluated the situation, he submitted a proposal and estimate to me, on-line, I accepted, he sent in a 2 man crew to do the work and then he personally came to inspect their work before payment was tendered. Very professionally done! I would recommend his work and his dediation to ensuring that things are done properly.

We had Richard remove the wall between the kitchen and family room and he was able to do that with some creative ways of handling obstacles in the house (e.g. HVAC ducts). He also had to match several different styles of wood flooring which they matched beautifully. They also changed around the electrical outlets/wall switches for the job. They removed some old storage shelving to open up the closet also.We met with Richard in February and reviewed what we would like to have done and he came back with his quote. We had two other contractors quote the same job and Richard was competitive and we got the feeling that he was honest and guaranteed a quality job. He has two extremely professional and competent work men that work extremely well together. The workmen were conscientious about the rest of the house making sure that the grinding dust did not affect any other areas. They used a wall of plastic sheets from the floor to the ceiling to ensure that the dust was confined. They cleaned up each evening even making sure that the rooms in the immediate area were dust free. Richard Wysocki the owner came every day to make sure that I was happy with the work being done. Once the job was done I can honestly say I was positively overwhelmed with how wide open the open space became. I was truly impressed with Richard and his workers and would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a contractor in our area.

I like him but he wanted me to pay for his bonding and fees so I went with another contractor.

I contacted Richard and he was very quick to respond to my e-mail. Within days he had seen the project and provided me with a quote. The work was done fast and efficiently. Richard's crew removed all the damaged parts of the fence and the broken concrete around the posts, repositioned everything and painted the fence. It now looks and works better than it did before the accident. I recommend Richard Wysocki Construction and plan to hire them in the future for other projects.

I did not use Wysocki Construction because I found out he uses sub contractors. He did not tell me this - I found out.

I e-mailed this person to inquire about a job I needed doing. Twice. I received no response. If the job was too small for his company that would have been fine....if he told me.....instead I didn't receive any response at all. Maybe if he had responded even to say, this isn't something I can do, I would have kept his contact information and used him in the future for a bigger job, however no response at all, not even an acknowledgement of receipt means no business from me in the future......
