Jacek and his crew did all that work in three days of 10-hour days. He was prompt and polite when he came to give me an estimate and carefully wrote out exactly what he was going to do. The guys showed up on time and worked hard all day. Jacek bought nicer baseboard than I had had and offered suggestions for a replacement back door. When the job was complete, he offered to return if I found something that wasn't perfect or needed adjusting, however, I have no complaints at all. The crew cleaned up completely even rehung the speakers for my surround-sound system and were careful not to let my cats out.

The job went well from start to finish. Jack was very responsive after our first communication and came to the house to look at our basement. His responsiveness was consistent throughout the entire project, which was important to us. He was open to our thoughts and requests and made recommendations as we planned our project. After agreeing to a price on a Saturday, Jack and his team were ready to start the next Wednesday. Everything went according to the schedule that he provided and was on time. The whole project only took 4-5 weeks which exceeded our expectations. All of the workers that Jack brought did a nice job. They were friendly and respectful to us and our home. Overall, we are very happy with our project and are enjoying our new basement.

This is the third remodeling job Jack has done for me this year. The first one was a complete rebuilding of a small bathroom to meet ADA standards (Americans with Disabilities Act). The second job was to replace a 12-foot; U shaped Formica counter top with a new one and install a new stainless steel sink and faucet. In all three jobs, Jack was wonderful. He answers his phone all the time. He came out fast to give an estimate. He started the work fast, and stayed away when we were seeing customers. He worked around our schedule. And he finishes fast and neat. His price is low. ($900 less than the other quote I got.) He sticks to his price. There are no extra fees even when he hits a problem that needs more work than he estimated. If you need a little trim, or an outlet, or a bit of paint that you didn t ask for, he just does it. No discussions and no charge. The work is high quality. My tenant who needed the ADA bathroom is extremely picky regarding quality. She had a very minor concern after the job was done. (A door rubbed against the carpeting, a little.) Jack came right back, trimmed the door and re hung it. My tenant is so impressed she is hiring Jack to work on her home. A professional who installs tile, came to my office for another job recently. He looked at the obviously new tile and said: Wow! The guy who installed this tile really did a great job. Jack is the best contractor I ve ever found. Period.

The work went very well, from the estimate, which came in several thousand dollars less than the home improvement store, to the tearing down of the walls, replacing greenboard, installing the shower components and door, and repainting where the new wall met old with the EXACT color match so no one can tell where the original wall ended and the new one began.

I initially considered JK Complete Remodeling for my project back in February but hired another contractor to perform the work. After months of being toyed with, I discovered my contractor had filed for bankruptcy and stole my deposit! I called Jack back and we hired him on the spot. He was sympathetic to our situation and agreed to a small deposit once his crews started working. This gave me peace of mind and was especially considerate of Jack as the extra time allowed us to recoup the lost deposit money. Work started as discussed, and within six weeks of signing a contact, our basement was complete! His crews came every day and worked hard until they were finished. We lost a couple of days of productivity due to my heating subcontractor and Jack never complained. Throughout the project, Jack was always available by telephone or in person to answer several questions I had. He was very attentive and most of all, cooperative. I was very impressed with his layout skills (other contractors made things too complicated). I feel Jack's greatest asset is his dedication to customer service, which exceeded our expectations. For example, I mistakenly purchased the wrong shower door size and Jack helped me return it on his own time on a Saturday. Also, I lost my telephone service one evening and once I informed Jack, he quickly opened up the drywall to see if it was his responsibility. As it turns out, it was a faulty splitter upstairs totally unrelated to his work. He did not even seek compensation for this extra work. Upon the final walk-through, my wife and I pointed out a few areas we felt could use some touch-up and Jack and his crews worked quickly to resolve them. Our basement is beautiful and we have received many compliments from friends and relatives. I would not hesitate to recommend Jack and his company. JK Complete Remodeling is an exceptional contractor and I will use them on future projects in my home.

Unlike most contractors to whom I have been exposed, JK was very prompt and stayed on their time line through the entire 3-week process.

Jack had done such a great job with the remodel of a powder room to full bath in my new home I asked if he could complete this work in my old home. The job was completed in about 5 days. The same crew was used (who were very pleasant to work with).

Jack responded to my call the same day I initiated contact; he was able to provide an estimate within 24 hours. I had about 4 weeks lead time so I could easily be placed on his schedule. The job started on time and was only 5 days late (no fault of Jack's crew--supplies were delayed; his crew even worked Saturday to help make up some time). Jack was very responsive to any questions I had; his crew were very pleasant to work with. They were efficient, organized and clean. I wouldn't hesitate to use them again. In fact, I did have them complete a smaller job at my first home.

Job took a little longer than I anticipated but otherwise everything went very well. I am very happy with the job they did and decided to have them do the upstairs bathrooms based on my experience with this project.

Jacek finished our basement which was nothing but cement. He did a great job and was responsive every time I called. There were some changes to the plan which slowed us down a bit but he was on top of things. He had a number of people in his crew; different people came for different phase of the project. They were fast when they were there. Framing took 4 hours with 3-4 guys, insulation and dry wall took 5 hours with 6-7 guys, patching took 2 days (because they had to wait for it to dry) with 2 guys, and painting took 2-3 days with 1 guy. For the price we had 3 little windows and 1 escape window replaced and built 1 big room only.

Working with Jack was a great experience. He and his crew were always timely and professional. Jack was very patient while we went through the permit process with our Village and was prompt in addressing any concerns. Jack's quote was the most reasonable we received for the work done. Jack used quality materials and was diligent to make sure all work was done to code. His crew was very neat and made an effort to keep the workspace clean. Jack kept us informed during the entire process and went out of his way to be accommodating. We definitely enjoy our new space and are very pleased with the job overall.

We had recently moved into the area and initially relied on ads in the local paper to find a contractor. After coming all too close to selecting a notoriously unethical contractor, we joined Angie's List. Eventually we chose J.K. Construction among several quotes; the best of the best we like to think. Jack is honest, trustworthy and a gentleman. He was true to the original estimate including maintaining an accurate log of receipts for materials he bought and delivered for us. His estimated time to complete the job was pretty good, too. Seldom did a day go by without a workman on the premises. He visited the job site frequently to monitor progress and was readily available by cell phone. It's hard to anticipate everything at the outset, but Jack was flexible to our changes while the work was in progress. He offered helpful advice on design including room layout. Jack did some of the work himself, and his laborers were very good craftsmen; framer, plumber, electrician, woodwork, tile layer etc. They maintained a tidy workspace throughout the job as well as removing any remaining debris by the end of the job. Jack made sure that everything was to our satisfaction before requesting final payment; just as he'd done with progress payments at the end of various phases of the project. The whole process went smoothly, and the end result is something we are proud of. I expect that we'll be calling J.K. Construction the next time we move.

Jack was very responsive, returning phone calls promptly and calling to keep us up to date on his arrival time. I was having work done for my mother-in-law's home and he went through the trouble to keep both she and I informed. I often find it difficult to find good people to do smaller "odds and ends" type of jobs - most contractors only seem to deal with complete remodels. Jack came out to look at the work, gave us a fair price, and scheduled the repairs which were completed as scheduled. We plan on using him again to do a few more handyman type of repairs around the house.

Jack arrived promptly for the estimate and gave me two estimates to turn our loft into an office. The 2nd option which I had thought would be cost prohibitive turned out to be quite reasonable. Jack also made several recommendations that my wife loved and enhanced. The overall project. Jack took care of all the measurements and ordering to make sure all material matched the existing design of the house. Once the material arrived, we scheduled the work and it was completed on time and in budget. Jack monitored the project to make sure it would be completed to specification and answered my phone calls promptly. Jack's guys were pros and worked quickly and expertly to a real professional finish. The room looks like it was built along with the house, which is exactly what we wanted. The plumbing for the sink was expertly done and our new room addition is spectacular! We will recoup the cost when we sell later, meanwhile we will enjoy the extra space for our growing family.

I had ordered the sinks and vanity but decided the plumbing was more than I could handle. I asked Jack to do the work for me because he had done such a great job on another project. I wanted the plumbing behind the wall instead of in front, so it involved some extra dry wall work and cutting. The new vanity was higher than I thought so the mirror had to be moved up - no problem - no worries - no extra cost even though it was my miscalculation. The job was done in a day he stayed until 6:30 PM to finish! My wife loves the new vanity and extra sink. It makes the bathroom more luxurious and should help the resale of the home. Meanwhile we will enjoy the higher vanity, extra sink and storage space.

We could not be happier with this experience or with JK Construction. Jack and his crew were always very respectful to our family and house. They were punctual, worked long hard days, friendly, unobtrusive, and always cleaned up after themselves every day. They offered professional advice when asked, were always willing to change something if we didn't like it, and did everything to ensure our happiness with the finished project. Now we have a work out room/playroom/home theater that truly completes our home, not to mention a truly stunning bathroom were the crew spent many long hours perfecting all the details. We would work with this company again in a heartbeat, and with complete confidence recommend them to anyone.

Jack and his team did a great job refinishing our basement. They started and finished on schedule. The work quality was high and Jack is a pleasure to work with.

Once again we had Jack out to do some work for us. This time he installed our new slate floor. I cannot say enough good things about Jack and his crew. Always on time, excellent quality work, very good communicator and great prices. I have referred him to at least 6 friends who have all been very pleased. He can do anything it seems! He has also completed several minor tasks for us over the last year that I have not commented on previously but have also been very pleased (repaired leaky toilet, exterior painting, installed new shutters).
