Home Inspection
Grant arrived early and was very friendly. He inputed all his notes on his laptop, and gave us a printout and disk of his observations. It seemed to us like he did a thorough job, however after purchasing the property we realized that he missed several significant defects. He neglected to examine the crawlspace where we are in need of new building supports. Had he examined the crawlspace we probably would have asked for a substantial credit to replace the weak supports or not purchased the building. Grant also missed the cause of water seepage in the basement. Also, there was a small gas leak coming from the water heater that he missed, as well. These omissions have cost us a lot of money.
