It was fine. They sent 2 workers out to do the job. It was like an apprentice and one worker was teaching the other and that was why the cost was a little higher than it should have been as it took longer to complete. It could have been done more efficiently.

It wasn’t so great. I felt like they used time to travel. Once they got here, they took up a work that required that they travel back to get tools. So it was a long time before they got back. I didn’t think it was a logical approach. They did a follow up call to check the quality though.

"Thanks for the review and our apologies for any inconveniences. This work was done during a period when other craftsmen were being sent to some scheduled jobs. We now project manage all the work, and craftsmen are thoroughly evaluated before being sent on any scheduled work alone. When materials are needed a craftsman will go shop and purchase materials, and the costs are added to the work order. The customer can go get the materials while the craftsman start the work."

They sent a couple guys over and they did an ok job. I called them and they came back. They second guy the sent was very efficient. I was pleased with their services.

Horrible! This guy should have agreed to the job. He doesn't have a license to deal with concrete NOR does he have a clue how to use concrete! Don't hire him! He's a scam artist in every way imaginable!
He was to raise the brick walkway and make it level. The walkway isn't level and pools of water lie in 2 sections, which he has not come back to fix yet. For 2 months I have asked him to come back and all he wants it 'more money' to fix it.
He was to pour a slightly sloped 2" concrete slab in my back alley between garages, and he only poured it part way and had 2 sections where the water sat after a rain. It took him 2 months to come back and attempt to fix it; which is absolutely horrible now and looks like a jigsaw puzzle, is rough all over AND isn't even level in any part of the newly poured section! He even made me pay him 65% down 'for materials' or he wouldn't come back.
My husband met with him on 8/12 to see how he intends to fix it now; in which Glenn indicated that he really doesn't know concrete well and he'll do whatever my husband wants him to do! Unreal! He also said that he doesn't have any money to pay for materials and that we'd have to pay him more to rent the equipment and buy materials. Again, UNREAL!
I want him to dig it all out and repour the entire job, from garage to garage, and put in the appropriate expansion joints and edging AND make sure it's level and smooth! Basically, what I hired him to do... 'a professional concrete job'!

"There were many repairs done at the property mentioned and done correctly and to the customers satisfaction as was told by the said customer. Patching in order to stop leaks to the basement, drywall patching inside, tile work, trim work, new exhaust fan installed, etc...... Unfortunately the concrete slab was done with some flaws, by a sub-contractor. The concrete wasn't suppose to be poured to touch a neighbors property without permission to do so, and that was never given. The customer gave a bid from another concrete guy for $1500 to fix the slab that had cracks, and it was done. The walkway pavement bricks had some settling and the customer was offered a solution. (adjusting bricks that settled) The customer refused. We are not using sub-contractors anymore and we are only doing repairs to concrete. We apologize for our mistake during this job and have made changes so this doesn't happen again. We specialize in Home Repairs, Handyman Services, and Inside Remodeling. I was in the process of getting ready to put house on the mortgage so there were lot of things to be updated, corrected, installed that kind of things. I think I was able to do the work with him. I think I had couple of things and we were able to get it done within the time we had allotted so he did fine work.This is quite honestly and my life has changed so much at the same time I was going to the process of selling a home and trying to relocate 2000 miles and get away almost everything I owned, just to get out there and all kinds of other stuff related to this job change, really for like 18 months my life was a bore. I would use them if I live there.

Work was done somewhat slowly because I had asked that the ceilings in two areas be repaired before painting. The window wall was done satisfactorily as was the installation of the new vanity. However, he fired the person repairing the ceilings and so it took longer to get to priming and painting. Sometimes it was difficult to get a commitment to complete a job because he was basically a one man show and had several other jobs at that time. In the end, he failed to show for several days and I completed the ceiling painting myself.

Was Ok I guess.
I had some language/communication barriers with the two helpers he used. They didn't do things exactly as I wanted them to. But I got what I needed.
Would probably use them again, but I would be more exacting and careful about the instructions. And be more watchful over the work as it was done.

Glen arrived on time, was courteous and professional. He unclogged the drain and caulkied the sink very quickly and efficiently. I need to have an electrical outlet moved and he arranged for an electrician to come out next week. Glen took measurements of my deck and will submit an estimate for re-staining the deck. If his quote is reasonable, and I'm betting it will be, then I will absolutelyhire hime to do the job.

We signed up for the special Glenn offered through Angie's List. Glen responded to my phone call and set up a time to come out. He never showed up and did not return follow up calls.
I asume he was over-extended with people who signed up for his special. I finally had to threaten to complain to Angie's List. He came and did the work, and he did a fabulous job.
This man is a great carpenter. However, I cannot recommend him because of his lack of responsiveness.

Was completely unprofessional, disorganized and kind of hyper. His helpers were polite and more professional than he was- although one of them had absolutely no carpentry experience and was just helping as a favor to him. Within a day or two I just wanted him out of my house. He overpromised and underdelivered.

He stood me up 3 times without calling. When he did show up, he brought someone with him without asking me. I had to pay for that guy in addition to the payment for the Angie's List deal. The work was OK but I did feel that I had been taken advantage of.

Upon opening the ceiling, I was told there weren't enough studs and it would be a bigger job than the big deal covered. I agreed to the new, more involved job and we scheduled an appointment 3 weeks away (which left me with half a bathroom ceiling for almost a

I hired him off Angie's List from a special offer I saw to clean the tile and grout. He should have never been listed on Angie's List as an A contractor or on Angie's List at all. After the poor quality of work that was done in my bathroom. We went back to the list and looked at the reviews and saw the extremely negative reviews dating to 2011. He canceled three times prior to showing up. When he did show up he only stayed for a half an hour and then tried to sell me more expensive services.

"The customer bought a clean & seal coupon from storefront and was told after cleaning that the tile would need re-grouting in order for it to match and for the floor tiles to be any better. The customer was told that re-grouting was given a price on-site and the customer re-fused. The customer was also told immediately that the work would only be an hour and because of it being a simple clean & sealing of tile, the customer was immediately given a credit for 1 hour of any repair or handyman service."

The work had to be done twice (though the work on the gouge was done reasonably well the first time). The first twosome removed a lot of planks thus making the area much larger than 2-3 sq feet. Admittedly, the lack of a subfloor was an issue but I wish they would have realized that this was quickly becoming a bigger project than they could handle. They replaced the boards but in no way did it blend in. I knew it wouldn't be perfect but this looked like a bad diy job. To his credit, Glenn agreed it was unacceptable and redid the work. His carpentry was good. The one issue for his work was the stain. He applied stain and had planned to come back a little later to wipe off, etc. Something happened so the stain sat there from lunch into the evening. It was way too dark. My wife and I ended up bleaching the wood. For stain we went to a paint store. I was flabbergasted when told that they could match the current floor color from a sample. Within about 30 minutes, we had the exact match for all of $20. Why Glenn didn't do that (or even ask me about paying the money to cover the custom match) is beyond me.
