Nick Dinicola is a con artist and a thief. Took a $400 deposit, then blew off the job for a month. When he did finally show up, he spent two hours here, then said he needed more money to keep working. When I questioned him he got irate and left. He later texted me and told me to find someone else to do the job, despite never returning my deposit. I also received threatening texts, accusing me of stealing his tools. They got so bad I had to contact the police. STAY AWAY FROM THIS CON MAN

Wanted a a/c unit and furnace. Passed them off as being used for 4 years. A/C unit was built in 2010. Refused the unit and he was mad. Sent threatening texts to me all day trying to get more money stating we cost him $150.00. While the furnace was being installed , he kept changing the price on the A/C Unit. It started at $650.00 and then he want $970.00. We had paid him $660.00 and he would not finish installing the furnace without another $140.00 cash. We had to hire someone to complete the A/C drainage pipe as this was left undone and the vent pipe was a mess. They used a 4 " to 5 " reducer and just stuck it into a 6" pipe. Just had someone here to do a tune up on the furnace and found out that's 20 years old. Accused us of breaking the unit. Gave a 2 year warranty, wants $86.00 to come look at it. Refused to honor warranty and service the furnace. He is claiming we owe him $280.00 for freon, we have no idea what he is talking about since we purchased a new unit from someone else. Needless to say, we will be hiring a new company to install a new furnace in the next few days.

"This is not what happened AT ALL, these people are BOTH SCAMMERS. JUST TRYING TO GET HVAC GUYS TO DO WORK FOR FREE, WHEN IT'S 90" OUTSIDE. There was nothing wrong with my units and I was told the coil in the furnace was leaking Freon and was not. It was the outside unit leaking. They had another co. there before me, {that they didn't pay ether}, said it was the furnace coil. I had to put freon in and found the leak outside. I gave them there money back for the inside coil and was putting there old coil back in was told they would only pay me $660 for the furnace and Install. We spent 2 hrs. trying to find the leak and freon then they call Another co. to Install a new a/c outside when we were not even done. Still not paid my money. Do not work for these SCAMMERS THEY WILL RIP YOU OFF"

Meh - the unit is good. Overall. But one or more parts in the ignition are either faulty or poorly installed. G&N specified a "warantee" on the unit, but what is the point if no-one will show up and fix it? Between calling and texting, and being asked to diagnose the issue myself, hearing promises to show up and then nothing - after more than a month of this I'm just going to write them the review they deserve and write them off. I'm eventually going to have to fix it myself, and I'm hoping that it's the $50 part that's faulty, not the $150 part. The following was the review I wrote but didn't post a few weeks ago, trying to give them one last chance to do right by this job. I'm a little concerned about a couple of installation decisions (they removed my air eliminator and have the burners turned towards a wall leaving very little room to service the burners). As far as the installation itself went, they did not have the required parts (fairly common parts). The boss got lost going to pick up a $3 gasket, and left two people on the job sitting in my basement with nothing to do all day, then texted me that he was going home, and vented a little about one of the guys he left. Between showing up and not showing up a job that should have been done in one day took a little over a week. When they were done they didn't purge much of the air from the system, so I ended up having to do that - which takes a lot of time and should have been done. The intermittent pilot assembly was so dirty that the gas valve was failing to open about 70% if the time, so I had to clean that. The wire from the flame sensor to the gas valve was hanging by a filament so I replaced that. Between those two fixes the valve is opening now around 80% of the time and since it is on automatic retry we mostly have heat. Over the last two weeks I have texted the owner (Nick) regarding issues with the valve, pilot assembly, and possibly the relay, and it take him days to reply at which point he's asking me to give him model numbers so he can bring over replacements. Honestly I'm not sure it's worth it. A professional company would get over here, diagnose, and fix, not ask me to diagnose. Since I'm bothering to fill this out I guess I'll give him one more chance to get the electrics and such replaced since he did warantee the work. I'm not holding out much hope but since we (mostly) have heat if he doesn't show up or do anything I'll fix it myself when I get around to it.

"YA, HE WANT'S THE WORK DONE TODAY, When it's 93dec outside and doesn't need the heat on TODAY, Saved he a ton of money, I had plenty of time to go back, BUT HE WANTS IT NOW. 75 MILES ONE WAY"

The installation was terrific. I was without heat and he was able to get me a good price and installation the next morning. He was on time, had another team member following right behind him, and they got the job done! He followed up with a call later in the day to make sure everything was working well. Great prices, great service!
