The replacement of the porch and stairs went well.  However a little over a year later the steps began cracking and the corner has broken off.  The railing is now loose and it's dangerous.  After leaving a few messages with them, I received a call back in March.  I was assured the repairs would be made "as soon as the weather got warm". Today is July 2nd and no repairs have been made and we have heard nothing.  My wife and I have left numerous phone messages and they don't even bother to respond.  I would not recommend this company to anyone.

The job was completed in two days. They handled the permit and the work was done on time and great job. They clean up every day and fill in the dirt along the drive and walk way . City inspectors approved the work and the job met all village codes.  Great Job

They started and finished on schedule, didn't want a deposit and showed professionalizm throughout

Horrible! Stay away!

F & F arrived on a Tuesday morning and were finished by Friday morning. Tuesday: Most of old concrete removed Wednesday: removed rest of concrete and formed job. Thursday: Concrete poured. Friday: Forms removed and job cleanup F & F was able to bring the garage floor, driveway and walks up to the correct level and to the latest codes. At the start of the job I asked for additional work which was done for a very reasonable amount.

They gave us a detailed plan of the work to be done and also gave us advice on how much wider our driveway should be, making the process much easier for us. They also removed all debris in the end and we're quite happy with their work.

Lousy. First: They free-hand cut the lengthwise expansion joint in my new concrete driveway - crookedly. Since the stamped pattern has straight pattern lines, the corked expansion joint is highly noticeable. Second: The repair which was part of the contract for the back stoop was never performed, but I did pay for it. Third: The concrete sealer they used for the concrete driveway is slick as glass in winter - no exaggeration. I cannot even walk up my driveway without falling. Zero traction. The necessary slope of the driveway makes it worse. As experts, the contractor should have advised me of the potential problem AND recommended a slip resistant sealer. Now, my driveway has lost color in patches due to trying to drive up this slick surface AND WORST OF ALL: Many (over 10) phone calls have gone completely ignored by this company in the last almost two years (work done Summer 2004. I cannot resolve anything with a contractor that won't even call me back.

FRED, THE OWNER, AND HIS SON, BRIAN KNOW THE CEMENT/CONCRETE BUSINESS AND HAVE OVER 50 YRS. EXPERIENCE. THEIR CREW WORKED HARD AND FINISHED THE JOB WITHIN THE TIME FRAME. I WOULD DEFINITELY HIRE THEM AGAIN.

THEY DID AN EXCELLENT JOB WITH THE PITCH AND GRADING OF THE NEW DRIVEWAY. WE WERE ESPECIALLY CONCERNED WITH THAT BECAUSE CHANNELING THE RAIN WATER RUNOFF AWAY FROM THE HOUSE IS VERY IMPORTANT TO US. THE BRICK STAMPED FRONT STOOP AND WALKWAY LOOK BEAUTIFUL AND WILL LAST LONGER THAN BRICK PAVING WOULD HAVE. THIS IS A FAMILY OWNED COMPANY AND WE FELT LIKE WE REALLY GOT PERSONALIZED SERVICE FROM THEM.

THEY WERE SUPPOSED TO DELIVER GRAVEL AND DUMP IT. INSTEAD THEY SPREAD IT WITHOUT ME ASKING BECAUSE THEY THOUGHT I WAS TOO OLD TO MOVE. I WAS DELIGHTED.
