Very pleased with Desmond landscaping. Don was prompt, courteous and straight forward with the entire project. Always made sure to stay in contact while waiting for the weather to break. He and his crew arrived on time, knocked the job out and everything exceeded expectations. I would highly recommend. A straight up business who not only follows through, but exceeds!

Excellent. Don from Desmond Landscape was super professional in all our dealings. He responded quickly to my Angies List post about wanting a quote. His quote was one of the better quotes. I ended up getting 4-5 quotes. The project took as long as he said it would and he was onsite the dates he had agreed to. He brought a whole team to work on the project and everyone was pleasant. His team planted a tree in our parkway. Tree is great quality and large. His team also removed our concrete front walkway path and installed clay pavers. The design/pavers look fantastic. Job well done. Would definately hire again.

Don just finished the work he did for us and I could not be happier. He took out our asphalt drive, leveled the yard and sodded the yard. He set up sprinklers to use for the next 2 weeks so I would not have to do anything but turn them on. He came when he said he would, finished in 3 days. I love the new paved walkway - we looked at pictures and then he brought me samples just to make sure it really was what I wanted. He is busy but worth the wait.

Could not have gone better! Don, the owner, came over to do a survey of the area and provide a quote. He was thorough and knowledgeable of our local code. Because of how close it would be to the house, he let us know a fire pit would not be possible - however he suggested a fire table instead. This was something we hadn't even considered, and ended up liking even more than the idea of a pit. Don ran a gas line to the table that they built, so no need to deal with propane tanks either. The only delays were due to some quirks with our home's gas line and waiting on the permits from the village - nothing to fault Don's crew. When they were ready to begin, it was only about 5 days of work before the old desk was completely removed, the gas line extended, and the pavers and table installed. Don's crew was fantastic, and Don himself was incredibly responsive (I am very neurotic with home projects and he was very patient with me!). And of course most importantly, the work is VERY high quality. We couldn't be happier with the service. We'll definitely be using Desmond again for any other projects.

EXCELLENT! I can't say enough about what a great conscientious professional job Don and his workers did. After years of courtyard flooding he was able to install our walkways and element the problem. Beautiful pavers and our "lake" is Gone-even after torrential rains. We have hired him again to start some landscaping this week

They were excellent. We have worked with the full range of contractors/subcontractors over the past year and few have been as responsive as Don Desmond and his group. They were professional, straightforward, reliable.

Great! Don came up with a nice plan, tweaked it a bit to include my preferences, and brought in some beautiful plants. Plants were large for the price. I'd consider them to be premium quality. The only glitch was that the guys threw away four existing spring blooming phlox along with the weeds. But Don replaced them for me with new ones. Promptly, and at no charge. It's possible that one of my daylillies was also lost, but we won't know about that until spring.

Very well. His price was "okay", and the workmanship was good...has held up over a year.

It went very well. They are neat and timely. I've actually used them before.

Don was very courteous and professional. His design reflected the ideas we had expressed. The landscaping work complements the front of our house beautifully. He exceeded our expectations. We highly recommend him.

Don was great. Works alongside his team. Is open and honest, moves quickly, and can communicate through your preferred channel (phone, email, etc). Will hire him again.

We searched through a whole pile of contractors and landscapers to find someone who could fix our ugly concrete slab into something usable and pretty. After a few real stinkers, we came across Don at Desmond Landscaping (he's the owner).

As soon as Don opened his mouth, we knew we'd found a treasure. Firstly, he has a real eye for design. He  really understands the flow of an area between walls, doors and sky, and how to make the most of space that is relatively small.

Secondly, he's a perfectionist - he did a full and comprehensive scope-out during the consultation, not just a quick measure-and-draw. Thirdly, he listens to what you want - i had some pretty specific ideas of stone and hedge, and over the next few days past the consultation he dropped around a variety of stone samples to make sure i was happy.

And finally, he's realistic. We had no idea what it would cost to do our project, and he gave us a number of options that could fit in our price range, and helped to bring the cost down in a few areas that we didn't even think about.

Honestly, he's an absolute gem. I can't recommend him and his team highly enough. BTW, they did our whole travertine courtyard (it's an odd shape, so lots of the stone was custom cut), built raised stone garden beds and planted quite mature box hedges in 2 days. No mess, no issues - just perfect!

Desmond Landscaping is awesome! Not only are my new patio and front stoop perfect, but Don and his team were always polite, professional, and patient. Don stopped by for a free consult and I immediately liked his calm, knowledgeable, and friendly manner. Over the next several months, he answered loads of emails and was always quick with his responses as my wife and I had trouble making decisions. The price he quoted us was less than the other 4 landscapers who came to view our property, but we probably would have gone with Don anyway because he was the only landscaper who promised to actually be on sight during the construction (instead of sending in a team of guys we didn?t know and who hadn?t been there to discuss the design plan). When the time came, Don was there (all 5 days), managing and working on his hands and knees. The rest of his crew were equally friendly and accommodating. We love the new patio, back steps, and the new stoop leading to our front door! These guys are fantastic. I will definitely call Don again when my wife and I finally decide what to do with the rest of the yard!

They came with 7 people at the appointed day and time  and finished in about 4 hours.  They were friendly and hard working. 
Afterwards they cleaned up, removing the debris, powerwashing my driveway.
We also got a 5% Angies List discount.

Don Desmond was a pleasure to work with as he advised, designed, quoted, and completed these projects. We had his organization come in and fully landscape our new construction, do a small hardscape island in the front yard, and finally put in a paver pathway along the side of our home. For each of these pieces, he endured our constant indecisiveness and was very patient with us while also being honest in what his perspective of different things were along the way. He has been very responsive to any questions or needs we've had and nearly ever plant (we ordered a lot) is alive and thriving. We did have a couple plants die, but he replaced them quickly and the replacements are good to go. Being new to "plants", he helped design a result that fits our lifestyle and we've been very happy with all the work they have done for us. What I also find unique is that Don is very hands on with his jobs and is in the dirt along with his crew...he is obviously passionate about the service he provides. I would absolutely recommend Desmond Landscaping to anyone looking to landscape or add some hardscapes to your property.
