One of the owners, Justin, came out to give the quote. He indicated power washing would be necessary before stain could’ve applied as stain would not adhere well to a dirty surface. Power washing would be done one day and time would be needed for wood to dry so stain would be applied another day. However, the 1st day they came to work they immediately began staining. When the project manager Jim arrived later that afternoon, I asked him about why they didn’t power wash. He said they probably did but it was so hot out that it dried fast. I said the men never had a power washer going. He then asked one of the painters if they power washed and the painter said they did not because it was not needed. I called Justin to see if he would adjust the bill to account for no power washing. He said he would. The painters finished the job in the afternoon and told my father there would be no adjustment because the men did power wash and their equipment is extremely quiet so he just didn’t notice. The next day I inspected the job and noticed several areas where the men missed applying stain and needed to do touch-ups, and one of the cedar planks had been knocked loose and needed to be nailed down. Additionally, there were over 10 places where the painters had gotten the dark colored stain on the very light colored bricks. I needed these cleaned off as well. Due to their schedule we had to wait to have these issues addressed. On the afternoon they were supposed to do the work they never showed up. My father sat at the living room window all afternoon waiting for them. Jim called me to say the painters had knocked on the door but no one answered so they went home. I informed him that they never arrived at my father’s house. They did come the next day and completed the touch-ups to my satisfaction. They did not, however, clean the stains off of the bricks though they did attempt to remove some of them, as evidenced by the long streams of lighter colored stain marks going down the side of the house. I don’t know whether these stains can be removed at this point. Clearly, these painters don’t have the capability. Jim and Justin returned to look at the stains and marked some but not all of the stains with tape. The men returned to remove the stains that were marked. I called Jim to notify him that several of the stains remained including the new stains that were created when their cleaning fluid dripped down the side of the building. Jim indicated that the men only worked on “their” stains which he had marked with tape and did not address any stains that were lighter in color. I reminded him the lighter colored stains were the ones they tried unsuccessfully to remove the last time they were there. Jim never made any other attempt to resolve the situation.

The painting crew was great - provided high quality work and cleaned up after themselves. The office staff was so easy to work with and were very responsive to my questions. Project went well, came in on budget and I would use CertaPro again.

Painting went well and the touch ups were spot on. Straight lines around the doors and windows and cleanup was perfect. Justin and the crew are true painting pros.

Antonio from CertaPro was very punctual and did very excellent work throughout. Very professional and completed job in timely manner. He also gave good instructions regarding leaving the laundry "open" for a few hours to dry thoroughly. I would definitely hire CertaPro again.

The painting was fairly good. Terrible communication. They left the smoke detector unplugged on a table. Some door knobs were left tapped. A strike plate left on sink. Soda taken out of fridge with out permission. Roll of painters tape gone Keys not returned on time and they came back to pick up a jacket. Left the fan on furnace running, lights on and a table is missing. Do not hire these people.

Very good experience. They were quick to give me a proposal and get scheduled. Their estimate was the lowest of several so I went them and I'm glad I did. They did great work and I would definitely recommend and will likely use them for other painting projects.

The salesman arrived on time to give me an estimate on the job. I signed the contract in June and provided them with my color choices. Then it began to rain almost every day. Kathy from CertaPro kept in touch with me as the date was pushed back due to the constant rain. On October 6th the job supervisor Justin called me and asked if they could do the job the next day on October 7th.  On October 7th the crew arrived at 8am as promised.
Justin told me that my color choices were not given to him. However Justin had a color matching device that he used on an unexposed painted area. We did not want to change the color so the color matching was the best way to go. It did a much better job of matching our paint than I could do. In fact, if they had used the colors I had originally chosen the house would have looked terrible. The color matching device really saved me from making a poor color choice.
The crew worked without a break from 8am until completion at 3pm. They were all very courteous and friendly. They cleaned up everything. I never expected such a thorough clean up. The paint job was great! It was a very precise and carefully done paint job.
I am very happy with CertaPro and would call them again.

Arrived promptly at 8:00am and finished the job in one day as promised.  Washed and scraped the areas before painting.  The painters were efficient and conscientious.  They were also very neat and replaced all items that were moved.  At the end of the job they made sure everything was cleaned up before they left.  House looks great!

Upon inspection there were places where the paint did not fully covered. When we pointed these out they touched up. Our hardwood floors and stairs were covered in dust from sanding. They said they would clean it up and did a very sloppy job. No we would not use them again.

We hired Certa-Pro to paint our kitchen and we couldn't be more pleased with the work they did and having us feel at ease with the process. Our kitchen has a lot of corners and high areas and wanted to update itwith a new color.  When Carmina came out to give us an estimate, she was friendly and quick with her assessment.  She even helped us pick a color as we were still debating on exactly what we wanted.  Once we decided that we wanted to go with Certa-Pro, it was a quick process to schedule the painters on when they would come in.  We ended up scheduling the job on a Saturday which was convenient for us, as my wife and I both work.  It was a one day job and both painters were polite and courteous, both asking the right questions to make sure they did the job correctly and answering our own questions about how they would do the job.  They even moved our appliances to
get the spots behind them, even though no one would ever see them.  I was very impressed with the care and attention to detail they demonstrated.  Afterward they cleaned up and left the kitchen as they found it.  Aside from the new color on the walls, you
never knew they were there. 
I highly recommend Certa-Pro for any of your home paining needs.  You never know what you?re gonna get with some contractors but Certa-Pro quickly put us at ease, with both price and scheduling, we knew quickly we were in good hands.  We will defiantly call on them again for our future painting needs.

We needed the exterior of our house repainted (same colors), with some serious scraping and sanding needed on the wood fascia. Most of it was wood siding, but we also have some Dryvet which is textured like stucco, so harder to paint. We got a couple of estimates and chose CertaPro based on their professionalism and friendliness. They were very nice and got the work completed in 1 day and it looked great. A year later, we had some bubbling and peeling on the fascia, and CertaPro came out to redo it with no extra charge.

The painting was scheduled to begin on March 6th.  We were told that the painter would arrive between 8 and 9 am.  Mark arrived around 8:45am all three days.  He was courteous and meticulous.  When needed he asked questions about which paint color for each area.  Together we went over the areas of the walls and ceiling that were in need of repair. He kept me apprised of his time table and progress each day.  He kept the area clean and any garbage accumulated because of the painting was thrown out.  At times I ran out to do some errands.  I felt completely confident that I could leave him alone in the house.  I was completely satisfied with my experience with Certa Pro from Dave's estimate to Mark's workmanship.

Four men arrived prompty at 8:00 a.m. and proceeded to remove window treatments, cover all furniture and carpeting with plastic and painters' cloth.  Paint chips were taken as the room colors were to remain the same, and one of the men went to get the paint while the others proceeded to tour the rooms as to what needed patching/painting.  They then patched picture holes and also patched areas where there had been paint peeling due to prior water damage.  The painters were very courteous, professional and very hard-working.  When they were finished they re-hung the window treatments and cleaned the areas thoroughly.  I had originally been told that there would be two painters and the job would take two days.  As it were, four men showed up and completed the job in just one day, which was very much appreciated.

We have used CertaPro twice now since we moved here. Once when we came in and again as we put the house up for sale.   We didn't want to deal with everything so we actually set it up for the work to be done while we were away for a week on vacation.  First time everything went great.  Getting the job set up was very straight forward and no games.  Once the work got started we got updates everyday on how things were going and we came back to a beautiful new look.  We found a few spots that needed a little more work, let them know and they were back the next day to take care of anything we needed.  
This time around we just need them to touch up the wear from the last few years but everything is going just as good as it was the first time. Great company especially compared to the painters we used at our last home.

They did an excellent job. I will definitely use them again.

They were very professional, clean and on time. I cant say that I have any dos or don't except i should have had them do more work inside the house at the time.
