Hardwood Flooring Service
This is the second time we have used Doran with ABC after a referral from a friend. With the first job we had issues with the quality of the stair installation but the stairs were very windy and each one was a different size so we were somewhat understanding. This time the stairs are great but there are some problems with the staining. It is uneven - you can actually see the marks of the circular motion used to apply it. Might be due to the dark stain with a lighter one it probably would not be as noticeable. Doran took $500 off the price until he can fix these areas, just a matter of when that will happen? Overall, Doran is pleasant to deal with, reasonably priced, and was very helpful in selecting the appropriate stain color even staining large boards of different options so I could get a better feel for the color. I am satisfied with the job but just don't think it is up to "A" quality.
