Rentals - Trucks
U Haul
The owner tried to charge me an additional $301 dollars even though I clearly had additional days in
writing on my contract. The renting location called him to confirm
the additional days and he ignored the confirmation. He lied to them
about additional time being written on my contract. I sent copies to
the renting location, the regional office and U Haul corporate.
After many calls U haul refunded $301 dollars. Wrongfully charged me
a $30 fuel charge that I mistakenly paid. The truck was picked up at
¼ full and returned at 1/2 full This guy is totally dishonest and
poorly represents. I have rented over 60 trucks from U Haul over the
past 11 years in Las Vegas. This experience in Dekalb IL at Tool Time
II Is The worst that I have ever had from any rental agency. I
traveled nationally for business for 18 years and never had a rental
person treat me like this. U Haul should be embarrassed that they
represent their company.
