Brian came out to give us an estimate and was very thorough and professional. He provided references and brought samples so we could make an educated choice. The workers showed up on time and replaced the roof in one very HOT day. They took care to keep the yard clean, but there was some minor debris left around, namely some roofing felt in the trees and bushes and nails around the driveway. The tarp they used to protect our plants on such a hot day actually damaged them a bit. Brian did say that any issues with the plants would be resolved. We trimmed the damaged parts off the affected plants and they are fine, so no resolution was necessary. The crew worked all day and did a great job. The new roof looks wonderful. About two weeks after the job was completed, we had a torrential rain storm and discovered a leak in the roof. Brian was contacted and came out to make the necessary repairs. They repaired the roof and subsequent storms have proven the repair was done correctly. We were given about 30 photos of the roof job in progress, which will be quite helpful if we ever have issues in future. All the paperwork required to activate the warranty was handled by Brian and we were given copies of all pertinent information for our records. Despite the small leak, Brian and crew did an excellent job and we are very happy with the finished roof. Brian was quite patient and easy to work with. We would work with Brian again.

Solid Construction Services Inc came to give me an estimate and they came when they said they would even though they came a couple days later because they were delayed on another job. They did call to explain and I agreed to it. When they came they got the work done and the work they did for me was very satisfactory so I'm very pleased with them. The employees were very professional. I thought their price was reasonable. They wouldn't be the lowest or the highest but they do good, quality work and have a lot of experience building houses. That's what really made my decision and I was right. They did a really good job.

Overall, from initial estimate to job completion, an outstanding job by Brian and his crew! I acquired three estimates to start with. While all three were in the same ball park, the estimate from Solid was the lowest, which surprised us because he went over every detail with us which included many things that the other two did not mention. After spending a couple hours at our hours that morning, Brian sat down with us and went over everything in great detail, including the products to be used, how they would be installed, the warranties and the cost. We didn't have to wait a couple days for the estimate.
Since another job was postponed, we were slated for the following week, much sooner that we had anticipated.
Almost the entire job was completed in one day! It's a two story house, with a somewhat complex roof line, and
40 squares of shingles, I would have expected it to take at least a couple days. The crew started early, the shingles
arrived a couple hours later on on truck which lifted them onto the roof. The crew was very efficient and did a quality
job. When they left at the end of the long day, you could hardly tell they were there, other than the a wonderful looking
new roof. The only think left the following morning was the counter flashing around the chimney, some trim, and
a small section of gutter that was damaged and replaced free of charge. The new roof looks amazing!

When the roofing crew and the construction manager arrived they were very professional and even asked about the plants and other items in our yard. His crew was very friendly and worked hard to complete the job in a timely and professional manner. The old roof was torn off and all of the shingles, paper, nails and any other debris was put on tarps and then put in their trailer to be taken away. The entire roof was striped, new paper applied and new shingles put in place. New roof vents were installed and our skylights sealed, every detail that was included on the estimate was completed and in one day.. We now have a 50-year warranty on our roof and will be sure and contact Brian from Solid Construction Services for any other projects we may have in the future. Our new roof looks great and there is not one piece of old material left in the yard or any nails to pick up. None of the flowers and plants were damaged or even smashed. When the crew had completed the job the construction manager asked if there was anything else they could do before they left and if everything meant with our approval,which impressed us greatly. .
