recommend her for dog walking.

Excellent! Despite all my best efforts, my dogs are a bit hyper! Julia is not intimated by them and is excellent at calming them down. When she pulls in the driveway, they go nuts as if a family member has just returned. They LOVE her! Prices are way more than fair, and she is always available on short notice. One of my dogs recently had surgery, which turned out much more severe than expected. We were litterally up all night with her because she was so traumatized, but had to go to work for a short time the next day. We couldn't leave her alone. Julia sat with her until we could re-arrange our work schedules and get home. She sat on the floor with her and kept her comforted. It meant the world leaving her with someone who genuinely cared, but more important, someone my dog felt comfortable with

Julia is the best pet sitter I have ever had, and I have had a lot of pet sitters over the years.  She is very low maintenance and low drama, a tough cookie who is not afraid of big dogs or using her muscles!  She always goes above and beyond, for example, hauling my empty trash and recycle containers back into the garage on garbage day when I've never asked her to.  When I come home from being out of town it was like I never left. 

Last weekend when I was out of town a skunk got trapped in a window well and my dogs would have been sprayed were it not for her.  She also tried to remove the skunk single handedly.  Who does that? 

Julia is a rare gem and hits all the check boxes. I hope she never stops providing these services. It is very hard to find someone this good to take care of our furry family members.
