The Tile Shop

I would recommend The Tile Shop. I have been working with Anthony M since November and he has gone out of his way to provide support to me so that I make the best choices. They have an extensive variety of tiles.  He will send me pictures through the internet. There are no personality issues and he has been able to work with everyone involved with my home "redo" without any problems. Anthony makes suggestions to me and is as comfortable with working with high end materials as he is with less expensive materials. The store itself is very clean and has an amazing selection of materials, wonderful diplays and an equally helpful website. The Tile Shop has provided me with the best experience possible when compared with other shops in the area. - UPDATE: Anthony M is now working at the other Tile Shop location in Lake Zurich, IL

Sales person was helpful and informative. Unfortunately, he ordered the wrong quantity of floor tile that did not become apparent until our contractor picked it up. This required a reorder for the additional tile and additional cost. Tile Shop management was helpful in rectifying the situation, made a price concession on the reordered tile and expedited the shipment. All our tile was on site a week late, but it didn't really effect the schedule of our kitchen remodeling, but it could have. The floor is beautiful and we are happy although we spent more than we budgeted for flooring. Mistakes happen, but we are completely satisfied with the way the Tile Shop handled the situation and the additional cost was not too bad.

After looking on-line and visiting other stone and tile stores, we went to The Tile Shop in Deerfield.  Their pricing and turn around time were the best.  They have a great selection and their staff was helpful and knowledgeable.  We chose a difficult stone and they were great about providing details and suggestions; they even called the producer to get more information and ideas.  Their store is bright and easy to navigate and they leave you free to explore until you are ready for help.  In the future, I'll save myself a lot of time and just go straight to The Tile Shop in Deerfield.

It's just an average but nothing outstanding either way.

During the reconstruction of the bathroom, we discovered that there wasn't enough room in the exterior walls to put recessed shelves in the tub. So we went back to the Tile Shop. Ray understood our dilemma and quickly located corner shelves that perfectly matched the rest of the tub wall tile. During the project we've had to return several items that weren't needed - like the tile we'd purchased for the recessed shelves. Returns were no problem!

We just purchased the tiles from them and the contractor installed it for us. They are good folks. They were very helpful and professional. They were reasonably priced. We would use their services in the future too.

We shopped their Deerfield, IL, store for ceramic, travertine and granite tiles for our kitchen and entry hall. The sales people were very helpful and friendly. We checked out samples, returned them and checked out more samples. When we decided on gold travertine, they discovered they couldn't get it for us. The mine had stopped shipping it. We wished they had taken the sample off the shelf so we didn't waste our time considering it. The inventory system is probably at fault here. We would use them again because of the excellent selection, quality and helpful staff.

Huge selection. Nice showroom with several model kitchens and bathrooms for inspiration. Worked with Joe. He has been in the tile business forever, from installation to sales and design. He helped us break through our mental block about picking a tile design. He took our colors, rough measurements, and a picture of our kitchen, and helped bring it together into a final design. Everything looks great. Hard to beat them for selection and price.

Store has HUGE selection of tile, with many tiled ''mini-rooms'' so customers can see how things look. Salesperson Philip Merza gave very good advice and suggestions.
