NS Heating and Air Conditioning

WOW! Our heating went out this past Saturday and our recent home purchase came with a Home Owner Warranty. Our claim was referred to be serviced by NS Heating & Air Conditioning. Ed was great - he came out on Sunday, quickly identified the problem and solved it. Extremely polite, professional and more importantly skilled in his ability to resolve the problem. We will continue to use NS Heating & AC for any other services we may need.

Promised to arrive between 9-930 and arrived within the time range on a rainy day. Took only 40 min to get heat back on again.

Ed was great. He arrived within the half hour window he stated, assessed the problem, retrieved a replacement part from his work vehicle, and completed the repair.

On Tuesday afternoon, Home Warranty of America told me that NS would be calling me.  I called NS on Thursday morning because I did not get the expected call (The weather was cool so it was not an emergency situation).  When Ed answered he sounded like he was expecting me to call, so I don't know if it was a communication problem with HSA or NS.  He asked if I was available later that day and I said yes.  We scheduled an appt and hung up.  He called back in 30 minutes and asked if it would be alright to change the appt to the next day, since it was not hot, I was OK with it.  Ed arrived within the scheduled window, he looked over the unit and diagnosed it and repaired it.  He also made suggestions regarding future maintenance.  After the initial mix-up, I found him to be helpful and knowledgeable.  The warranty company charges $100 for a copay.  Ed only charged me what the cost of the repair was, because it was lower than the copay.
