 + 3 moreDue to the installation issues and the unusual nature of our project, we talked to a number of contractors and eventually proceeded with Artec. Arthur and his crew were excellent. They took a lot of care to protect the house during the project, arrived promptly each day, and communicated well. The project required a lot of custom woodworking and they took the time to do it carefully and correctly, even though it ended up taking a few days longer than expected as you never really know what you're getting into untilyou actually do it. Overall, they did a really nice job -- the final product looks great and we are very pleased with the work. We will definitely use them again for future projects,
Description of Work: We worked with Artec on a window project (interior storms) for a vintage house that required an unusual installation. They came to the house several times with our window dealer to go over our engineer's plans. For the actual project, they re-framed the interior window openings, installed very heavy and large windows, insulated, and did a lot of woodworking to make the new windows blend into the house like they were always there. They also painted.
