They were prompt and done in 1 hour. They replaced everything under the sinks and made absolutely no mess! They were professional in appearance and attitude and did not smell like cigarette smoke. These guys even petted the dog. Hire them with no hesitation.

One of the urgent problems we discovered after we moved into our home was in one of the bathrooms. The bathroom had carpet, and we did not know until we walked barefoot on the floor that the toilet was leaking. It was such a mess--the toilet had been leaking for some time, so the flooring and sub-flooring were ruined. We knew we were out of our do-it-yourself comfort zone, so we called around the area for a plumber. We tried for 3 weeks to get a plumber that would just come to the house and give us an estimate. Finally, we did get a few to come, but their estimates were sky high. We were stumped. Ultimately we called Kerby Plumbing out of Decatur and they came to our rescue. They had to travel 45 min to get to our house, but their work was exceptional and they charged significantly less than half of what others quoted us. We are so glad we connected with Kerby Plumbing. Called the company at about 8:15am and there was a serviceman at my door by 9:30am. The serviceman (Jay) was very courteous and professional. He assessed our problem quickly and made suggestions. In our case, I called Whirlpool Corp. at the number listed on the water heater. I was told that our unit was still under warranty and that I could obtain a replacement part from our local Lowes store. I called Lowes to be sure they had the part needed and was told by Jay to call him when I got the part and someone would come back out to install it. Half an hour later with part in hand, Jay sent Travis out to install new thermocoupler unit. Apparently this is a VERY common problem with Whirlpool water heaters. Travis was at my door within 20 minutes and went right to work. Another 1/2 hour and all work was done and unit tested. Considering that we were not willing to do the work ourselves, the price was very reasonable. Would definately recommend Bob Kerby Plumbing!
