Ned and his team are great. Ned owns the company and he came by to see what needed to be done and was in site during the roof change. Ned and his team explained everything to us in detail in terms of the roof shingle quality and what was needed and what was nice to have. They didn't push us to buy anything unnecessary. Further he was just very honest and even kinda talked us put of unnecessary stuff. I very much trust Ned and even had him look at a roof issue my parents had. Ned and his people are really solid and you can't go wrong. I'm going to call him back for other work.

Ned Cepronas (owner) took the time to answer all of our questions by phone and email. We were very thorough in our vetting for a new roof, and we asked a LOT of quesions. Ned was professional and courteous at all times. His pricing was in line with the other estimates we received. Our roof was installed in December, a week after our first snow of the year. We were afraid we were going to have to wait until spring, but Ned made it work. We go new architectural shingles by GAF. We found a shingle that we thought was from our roof and we called Ned just recently. He came out right away and got up on the roof to verify it was not from our roof. It was our neighbors who needs a new roof! Ned's warranty was better that other quotes we received as well. Happy with our choice.

We had this company initially inspect and make temporary repairs to our old roof. Once winter ended, we had them provide a bid for tear off and replacement. Their bid was in the middle of the spectrum, but for the superiority of the product offered, professional installation, as well as additional work done in the included price, we felt that this was a value. As echoed in many other reviews, the owner was prompt and professional, all work scheduled was done on the correct date, on time, and on budget. Communication throughout the process was nearly instantaneous. I don't like surprises, there were none. I already have and will continue to make recommendations to neighbors and friends.

I have since recommended Chapo to several of my neighbors as I was that impressed with his work and the products he used and his team. They did not take frequent breaks, just a quick lunch, he brought them lunch and water each day so they worked long and hard days and stayed on property the entire day. I have had many friends and neighbors compliment the look of our new shake roof. I was very happy with Chapo and would recommend them!!! The owner, Nerijus, is a real hard working down to earth smart business man who is not afraid to roll up his sleeves and get the work done right the first time. His follow up was outstanding after the job was done and I called with a couple questions. I found Chapo on Angie's List and I am so glad I used him.

We found the owner, Nerijus to be very knowledgeable, who took the time to point out a couple of other issues that clearly needed attention. He was wonderful, friendly and very professional. We had several quotes, Chapo had a reasonable and competitive estimate, without cutting any corners. We felt this company was fair, honest and upfront with everything. The workers were considerate of our landscaping and at the end of each day everything was hauled away and cleaned up. Overall, the work was done to our expectations and beyond. Absolutely no concerns about the quality of this company's work, very pleased with workmanship overall! We highly recommend Chapo without any reservations. You will be pleased too!

I recently purchased a new gut rehab and wanted an independent roof inspection after some issues after purchase. The inspector was to review the roof and fill in any issues. He comes in after and hour and says 'I don't even know if I want to touch the roof due to issues'. They made no repairs to the defects (caulking as stated) and were very difficult to even provide what was at issue. After some persistence they did provide me the photos with some very unprofessional comments on the issues. No caulking or repair was performed. Inspector made a comment that the only way he would work on the roof was if he could re-do it at the tune of $20k+. I would avoid this company at all costs.

"Thank You for the review. After roof inspection and caulking we provided digital pictures and explained the home owner what is wrong with the roof. We could not repair all the leaks with caulking. After seeing pictures the home owner was disappointed with pictures and previous contractors work. The roof was installed incorrectly and was damaged during installation. The roof is smaller size we would never say that roof cost 20K plus. The home owner said that will go after contractor that did installation. We sent all the pictures to the home owner to help explain what is wrong with the roof. It was a big investment but it it not our fault we did not install the roof. Thank You"

I placed this service order on Monday, so the service provider was suppose to contact me by Wednesday. The provider did not contact me until Thursday, at which time the provider offered three dates when the roof inspection might occur. I had to confirm with the seller of the home which date was acceptable. On Friday, I attempted to confirm a date with the provider, but the provider did not contact me until the following Monday. By then, I had contacted another provider who provided the service the next day. Since I am a prospective buyer of the home where the service was to be rendered, I had a legal constraint when the service had to be completed. Hence, I was compelled to engage the services of a more responsive provider.

"Thank You for the review. At this extremely busy season we contact customers as fast as we can. As soon as we received the request over Angie's, we contacted the customer on Thursday. We offered our service next day, Friday, early in the morning, 7 or 8. The customer promised to call us back within few minutes to confirm, but never did. He called us on Friday and asked for service on Tuesday (another date discussed on Thursday). We spoke with the customer on Monday and confirmed Tuesday's appointment. However, later on Monday he called and canceled the appointment, his reason being that its taking too long. Thank You"

got the big deal from angies list. all went very well - from scheduling to service. On the scheduled service day, Miguel showed up on time. Informed me what he would do. He cleaned up the clogged gutter while on the roof for me. He noticed minor problem in the gutters over my garage - not pitched well. suggested to get it fixed. Overall, a very nice experience. Definitely will hire them in the future.

I contacted Chapos Construction for a repair and inspection when I was told I had some shingles loose and what seemed like an issue with the roof vent. The person who answered was very pleasant, answered my questions and was able to make an appt for the following day since I was concerned about the rain.
Nerijus and another crew member arrived at the appointed time, introduced himself and went to work inspecting the roof. He did find a hole at the roof vent line where something may have tried to get in as well as some loose/raised shingles. He showed me a picture of a the problem area, explained what he would do and then picked up materials and went to work on the repairs. When I asked him about the condition of the roof he did say it was an older roof (which I knew) and pointed out the gutters were not in the best condition. I asked for a quote on a new roof and I will definitely consider him for this work.
He was very professional, pleasant and I'm happy with the work.

Took photos which were a big help. Pointed out roof and caulking issues that had been missed by other companies in the last 16 years of having roof service.
Very careful about removing roof debris onto property.
Thank goodness no roof issues and was not pressured to do unnecessary work.
Photo of failing chimney cap will get me started on that repair. It never could have been detected from ground level so we have a jump on what might have been a major repair or pest infestation. Thanks Chapo.

I wanted to wait to do review until we had had two or three storms to make sure the roof was going to stay on. I've now had a couple of storms since they put the new roof on and it's lasted. I'm an educator and I go to different facilities and I'm always looking for people wearing their personal protective equipment such as eyeglasses, etc. The first thing I noticed about his crew, even before they got up on the roof, they had safety harnesses on. When they were up on the roof, they hammered their safety harnesses to the roof. Safety is number one. He came out a couple of times to check on the job and I told him that it impressed me tremendously that the guys were wearing their safety equipment. He's OSHA compliant. The nice thing about that is if you have somebody that doesn't take care of that, then you start questioning if they have Workman's Comp or any insurance if a guy falls or they going to cover it or are they going to sue you. Their price was the same as a couple of others I spoke to. The only reason that they couldn't get the job done when they wanted to was because it started to rain one day so they couldn't bring the crew out right away. Then they had to wait when they got to a certain point for an inspector to come out, which was another good sign. The first day that they worked, the owner came through and was picking up nails and things that they may have missed. There wasn't a lot of stuff that they missed. When they finished the job, he didn't want any money until the final inspection was done. He does do windows. We talked about windows. A couple of my windows have some rotted wood on them but instead of selling me a window, he told me how to fix it myself to save me some money.

I cannot say enough good things about Ned and this crew. from the person answering the phone, all the way through the job, they were polite, repsonsive and completed quality work. I plan to use Chapo next spring for replacement of my house roof and gutters.

Ned and his team were simply exceptional. During the bidding process, Ned came out and did a thorough inspection. His detailed estimate was very clear and in line with two of the three other bids we received (one of the outliers was $2K more than the others, and the gentleman that did that estimate was on our property for no more than 5 minutes).
I called Ned and asked him if he could reduce the price as we were inclined to go with him, but he declined saying "I gave you the best price I could - it wouldn't be good business for me to give you a price from the outset that I thought wasn't my best price." I liked that.
After providing Ned the down payment, he indicated his team would be out and ready to work on Wednesday of that week (I met with him on Monday). They showed up promptly at 7am and started work. Every day, they cleaned up thoroughly and left the house in a very good state.
One of our big problems was that the skylights in our bonus room were leaking during heavy rains. Ned indicated that he would fix the problem, and he did! Weatherstripping around the skylights and no problems at all during our most recent rainstorms.
Overall, I couldn't be happier with the service and quality workmanship that Ned and his team provided. Excellent communication, great value and fantastic service. Thank you, Ned!

They arrived on time repaired all of the work my roof needed in less than 3 hrs. My roof need to be caulked needed vent pipe extension and some shingles needed to extended. They did an excellent job with a warranty of 1 year on all work performed.
