Excellent service.  The owner, who picked the rugs up, was extremely courteous and knowledgeable, and in fact gave us very good advice for dealing with the results (dampness, smell) of the flooding.  The price struck us as most reasonable.  When they were returned, the rugs had obviously been thoroughly cleaned, and were in fine condition.  I noted that they were brought back a week after the (very early) date promised, but then we had said we were not in a hurry, and we can imagine Newton's had massive numbers of carpets and rugs to clean.

They professionally vacuumed and shampooed the carpeting in the bedrooms, bathrooms, landings and staircase in the home. They did a great job. They were very professional and a supervisor arrived before they finished to check on the job and speak to me about whether my expectations were fulfilled. The carpeting looks nearly new, and part of it is ~30 years old!!!! The landing and staircase carpeting is 5 years old and now looks brand new again. I used them a few years ago before my last renter moved in and was happy then as well. That's why I used them again and will again. I used the "steam people" in the past and was very unhappy with the outcome and the lingering bad odor. Newton's job was professional, clean with no odor except clean. From their receptionist to their servicemen to their supervisor, their customer service is superior. I recommend them wholeheartedly and these days that's nearly impossible, but true. Hire them. You won't be disappointed ever!
