Responed promptly to my initial phone message. I explained what I needed done over the phone and he gave me an approximate idea of time and costs. Arrived on time and did an estimate that was in line with our phone discussion and then completed the work during the same visit. Very professional. Work was done correctly and in a timely manner and all mess was cleaned up.

The quotation process was prompt and very accurate vs. final bill. The work was done quickly and exactly to the needs we had. The service technician explained what he was doing and had done at key points during the work. This was the best experience we've had with any electrician in 25 years, and perhaps the best experience with any skilled trade contractor as well.

I called J C Electric because we had an electrical line in our house go out. This included several wall switches and wall outlets. I would have rated excellent in responsiveness, but as they could only come the next day, I will save that for immediate responses. I was very pleased with the service. They thoroughly checked everything, found the problem, repaired it and then re-checked everything. Even hooked up some appliances I had to unhook due to the outage. They accepted my Angie's list coupon for $15 off the bill. Will be sure to call them again if needed.

I've used them before and they are pretty good. The price was exactly what they said it was going to be. Their price was competitive and there were probably cheaper prices. They didn't leave any mess behind. They were head and shoulders above the others as far as responsiveness.

Track light installation was straightforward, after he counseled me to keep it simple (I had ideas about controlling the track lights separately from existing ceiling fixtures. This was not practical.) He patiently explained why the bathroom fans I had bought at Lowe's would not work well in this replacement installation and he suggested doing a thorough cleaning and lube of one fan as a trial. Although this did not solve the noise problem, I saw that it might be possible to replace the fan motor. Even though the fan is no longer made, I found a source for the motor on the Internet. I am waiting to receive the part and plan to install it myself. If unsuccessful, I will call J.C. Electric again. The technician, Tom Lockhart, was very courteous and knowledgeable.

They provided the light fixtures for me when they replaced them. It went great. They were very friendly. They explained things very well for me. The switch they replaced had not been replaced in forty years, that also goes for the light fixtures.

J.C. Electric is always professional from start to finish. When I called for the repair the operator asked several questions to understand what I needed done. A repairman was sent out the very next day and the thermostat installed. I never feel comfortable messing around with electricity which is why I always call the professionals. This may have been an installation I could have done myself but the piece of mind knowing it was done right was worth every penny.

I called and scheduled on July 26, and was told that they would come between 12PM-4PM on July 31. They never showed, and when I called to ask where they were, I was connected to an answering machine. I left a voicemail and never received a call that afternoon. Then the next day, I received a phone call in the morning apologizing. They told me that they would show up between 11AM-1PM. At 1PM no one had called or shown up, so I called them and they said that somebody would come as soon as they finished the previous job and their electrician arrived around 3:10PM. Once he did arrive, he was very quick in installing our doorbell. It is my feeling that if appointments have not been finished by a company, that there should be a real person still answering the phone so customers know what is going on. I also thought that JC Electric would have offered a discount considering that they didn't show up until the second day, and were late. I may or may not consider hiring JC Electric again.

I LOST ELECTRICITY AT 12:30 AT NIGHT. IN THE MORNING MY ELECTRICITY WAS ON IN ALL ROOMS EXCEPT THE KITCHEN. I PUT IN A FUSE AND IT BLEW. I CALLED JC ELECTRIC. THEY CAME AND GOT MY KITCHEN LIGHTS ON, BUT PAUL WASN'T SURE WHAT HE DID TO GET THEM TO COME ON. HE RECOMMENDED I GET A NEW CEILING LIGHT AT LOWES. FROM THE 29TH OF SEPTEMBER I THOUGHT THERE WAS A BULB OUT IN THE KITCHEN. ON THANKSGIVING I HAD IT CHECKED BY MY GRANDSON AND THE BULB WASN'T SCREWED IN ALL THE WAY. A LIGHT SWITCH IN THE HALL DIDN'T WORK AFTER JC ELECTRIC LEFT. I FEEL LIKE PAUL WAS CARELESS. HE WAS A NICE YOUNG MAN AND HONEST THOUGH.
