We visited vendor, selected doors and side panels. They shipped as promised, Werd Const installed in one day, being very careful with installation.

We could not have been happier with our building process with Werd Construction. The owner, personally guided us through the architectural process, assisted in choosing design elements, was on site DAILY through the entire process. We broke ground in April 2007 and moved in the weekend before Thanksgiving 2007. Werd Construction is a full service builder -- we didn't have to find any sub contractors on our own except the stereo/AV team. They even handled septic and landscaping. During construction Chicago was hit with the worst storms in years. Most of the area we live in was flooded, including our mid-construction home (drywall was up, no flooring or carpet was in). Werd Construction came out, inspected the damage, removed drywall as needed, and hired an independent water damage firm to dry out the basement so that I had no fear of mold damage. Since completion and moving in, we have had the general minor adjustments needed to a new home. The owner has personally responded to every call, and we are almost fully completed with our punch list as of May 1, 2008. We highly recommend Werd Construction to anyone who is looking for a builder in the North / Northwest suburbs of Chicago.
