Overall it was a very bad experience. Mr Walsh showed up on time, chatted a bit, asked questions about updates, additions and such, and then walked around to take a few pictures. He asked for our plat map which he promised to return by mail upon completion of the appraisal. He also mentioned that a sunroom addition had not be accounted for in the counties assesment. He required a check for the $250 up front. He said it would be 3 to 5 days before he emailed us the appraisal. He seemed very professional at the time of his appointment. After a week, on the 14th, and again on the 17th, I emailed him, asking when we would receive it. He replied on the 18th that we would see it on Monday or Tuesday, the 21st or 22nd. Again nothing showed up.I waited until the 24th to email him again asking for the money back so we could hire another appraiser. He replied that we would see it by the end of the day. Still no apparisal. Then the next day, the 25th, he finally emailed it.After going over the document, I realized he had made 3 or 4 mistakes. One being only showing one bath when we had two, not adding the square footage of the addition, etc. And he had someone else in another town listed as the owner. I emailed the mistakes and on the 29th, he replied that he would fix them and resend the appraisal. Two weeks later, after not getting anything, I emailed him again. He replied we would see it by the next Friday. That was two months ago and we are still waiting for the corrected appraisal and plat map.A total waste of $250. Homeowner BEWARE of this company and appraiser.
