We had Unity replace our concrete patio. Tom was great, worked with us in getting our patio pavers picked out, and was extremely responsive to all of my questions. He made sure we were satisfied along the way and checked in each day. The patio turned out really nice and we can't wait to be able to enjoy it. It's great to have peace of mind with the included 5 year warranty. We are already planning on having them do our front walkway to match. Thank you very much Tom and a big thanks to your crew!

For what was wanted, they did an excellent job. Took the crew 1.5 days to pull all the pavers, relevel, replace old bricks back in, and added the finishing sand. Looks 100% better than previous. There is one little spot that didn't get completely flush with the other bricks. There is a 5 year warranty, so if that area sinks or settles wrong, they will come out and fix it.

She was good. Provided design drawing and she is still following up with me. In general, she is pretty helpful and very professional.

Everything was wonderful! Tom was extremely helpful and attentive as we were planning what to do with our backyard. He helped us come up with a design for patio and landscaping that really works for us. He was able to start the project right away and the work was finished in just a couple of days. The workers were friendly, courteous, and cleaned up the area when they were done - They even put our patio furniture on the completed patio for us! The price was on point - even less - than other bids we had received... and for the quality of the work and friendliness of Tom and his crew - we feel that we hit the jackpot! We are beyond happy with our investment and so happy that we decided to go with Unity. We went from never using the backyard - to being outside every day. We already are coming up with more projects for them to help with!

It couldn't have gone better. From day one Tom and I hit it off and that's not always easy to do with a contractor. But his approach and demeanor made it easy for that to happen. We brought some ideas to Tom as to how we wanted things to look and I could tell that he understood and shared my ideas. The finished product showed that we were definitely in sync. Tom was open to ideas and was flexible enough to change to insure we got what we had envisioned. Before making changes he always consulted with us and made sure we were on the same page. We were amazed at how quickly things started and that they were done within 4 days! That is a testament to his crew who worked tirelessly to get the job done. No corners were cut during this project and I was there every step of the way watching so I know they did this job to the book. I would highly recommend Unity to anyone looking for this type of project or anything related to landscape or hardscape. You might think after reading this review that I'm a cousin of his but this is the first time Tom and I met and it was based on some of the other reviews that I made my decision to call him Thanks Tom and crew! Great job!

When I sent an e-mail to Tom Alford of Unity, he responded immediately.  We set a time for him to come assess my yard in order to provide me with an estimate.  We walked the yard together, which enabled me to point out the areas I wanted addressed.  That same day, I had an estimate in my e-mail from Tom.  I contacted him the next day, letting him know that I'd like to move forward.  We agreed on April 1st for the project (how lucky, given the gorgeous weather that day!).  Tom and his crew arrived first thing in the morning, and worked diligently until the work was completed in the early afternoon.  He made a point of looking for the kind of mulch I prefer (in regards to quality and color).  There was one area of the yard where my deck will be rebuilt, so he held off on spreading mulch in that spot, but will come back to do so when the deck is complete.  After the work was finished, Tom and I walked the property again so that he could point out what they had done and how/why.  My yard looks absolutely fabulous; it is a great start to the summer!

Honestly, this was one of the best experiences I've ever had!  Tom Alford, the owner, responded immediately to my request for an assessment of the work and a proposal.  Once I decided to work with Unity, Tom let me know that they were running about 10 days out from when contracts were finalized and, sure enough, that's exactly when they started work.  His crew was polite, happy to answer any questions I had, and did an amazing job of cleaning up the work area at the end of each day.  At the conclusion of the project, I walked through the area with Tom and was so delighted to notice all of the little extra touches.  They brought in topsoil for a bed near the patio, and had some extra, so they spread it in some other beds that were in need of extra soil (in a completely different part of my yard).  I noticed that they put down grass seed in the topsoil around the edge of the patio, as well.  Tom had selected the new pavers for the perimeter of the patio, and chose a contrasting color that really dresses up the area.  I just felt like there was all of this attention to detail that is so rare these days.  And the resulting work is just beautiful - I couldn't be more pleased.
