Thank you Mandy and Mike! Your team was wonderful today! I received a courtesy call to let me know who I should expect from Superior, that they were on their way, that I could expect them within a half hour and as promised, they arrived on time. Both gentlemen were polite and courteous, fast and efficient, and skillfully repaired our garage door springs with true professionalism! Nice job all around! We are very happy and not only wanted to express our sincere thanks to everyone at Superior again, but also wanted you to know we will always highly recommend Superior Overhead Door to others!

Technician arrived during the time window given. Performed work well. Only suggestion for improvement is the price was more than the estimate given over the phone, this was justified because more parts were replaced than just the springs but this possibility could have been explained ahead of time.

The actual install itself went extremely smoothly. The installer was prompt, courteous and efficient. He had the whole system installed and working perfectly in less than an hour. This was a single garage door which did not previously have an automatic opener. They hung and installed a brand new opener (purchased from Lowe's).
My only issue with Superior Overhead Door was with their office staff. They created unnecessary confusion. First they told me that I needed to buy an and quot;install kitand quot; from Lowe's before they could install. Then, when I called Lowe's, they told me that there isn't such a thing, and that all I needed were some angle irons. When I called Superior back to tell them, they then told that it wouldn't be a problem at all, and I could buy the angle irons directly from the install technician. Why then did they tell me I needed a kit in the first place? Finally, when the installer arrived he told me he wasn't authorized to take payment, and I had to undergo an entire process to have their office call me to get my credit card info before he could actually complete the install. It was a very annoying and unnecessarily aggravating process. I wasted a lot of time during the work week going back and forth when the whole thing could have been easily cleared up in the beginning.
That all being said, the finished job was done very well, and the installer was great.

Door spring broke some time on 4/24. I researched Angie's list and found that this company. They were the same company that installed the garage door opener. Called them up and made arrangements to have them out to complete repair. They worked with my schedule and were very responsive. The tech also did a door tune-up and adjusted the garage door opener free of charge.

The work went very well. They were very professional. They were honest with what I needed to be done and did exactly what I wanted them to do. They did not try to sell me anything. They just got the job done. They did a good job. They were honest and straightforward. I don't recall about their price but I did not bid them against other people; so it’s hard to say anything about it. I would use them in future.

Superior was very helpful when I first called them. The person sent out to give me an estimate was on time and explained the features of the different doors. The door I selected was not in stock and I was told it would be two to three weeks for it to arrive. It actually came in after 2 weeks and they installed it promptly. The installers did a good job of cleaning up after they were done. All in all, a very good experience and I will use them in the future for anything concerning the door or opener.

"This Home Depot customer’s door was installed 9 years ago by Superior through Home Depot. The customer just had a spring break on their door, which we learned of 4/27/2010. The customer told Home Depot that we did not install new springs with the door 9 years ago. Home Depot had Superior do an inspection to determine which exact springs were on the door and confirm a broken spring is the problem. The springs have been confirmed that they were the springs ordered, received, and installed with the customer’s door, and are the correct springs for this door. We confirmed at inspection that the customer has a broken spring. Home Depot was informed of the price to replace the customer’s springs, which are long out of warranty. Both Home Depot and Clopay, the door manufacturer, are satisfied that the customer will need to pay to replace their springs and no fault was found with Superior Door’s installation or service, both 9 years ago at the time of installation and the current issue. The customer’s installation warranty through Superior was 1 year."

I think this company works with Home Depot and they referred me to Superior Overhead Door to install the garage door. They have about 45 different numbers. They are pleasant. They were two guys and they came on time. They installed the opener pretty efficiently and it didn't take a very long time. I used them because I bought the opener from the Home Depot and they use Superior Overhead Door. Their price and quality was good. Their responsiveness, punctuality and professionalism were excellent.

Superior is a subcontractor that we were assigned to through our garage door purchase at a home improvement store. The office staff was friendly and accommodating. Scheduling seemed to be wide open and quite flexible. The two gentlemen who came out for the installation were efficient, and cleaned up before they left. A very good experience overall.

To clarify the door buying procedures, before any door is ordered, whether you are our direct customer or through a home improvement store, is to do a 20 minute Site Check where we come to your home to inspect the installation site and make sure there are no problems or issues, double check the measurements, and confirm the details of what is being ordered. Once the door arrives at the manufacturer's warehouse, we inspect it to make sure it is what was ordered and in good condition. Then we call the customer to let them know their door has arrived and schedule their installation."

The quality and features of the new door were thoroughly explained to me. Once ordered, the door was installed 2 days later. It only took about 1-1/2 hours for the technicians to complete from arrival to departure. I can't say enough how pleased I am with the quality of the door and the efficiency and professionalism of the people I dealt with at Superior.
