John the owner is a pleasure to work with, as are the people he employs to work on the jobs.  John's pricing is very fair and he is very efficient once he get's going.  As with many small business owners, John can sometimes get to busy, though ever time he did he was professional about any delays we encountered.  We will continue to use John for all our Electrical needs.  

On Aug/5/2013, I signed up for a Big Deal with Shelby Electric for 2 hours of work for $99.  This was contracted out to Rawlings Electric.  I was initially contacted by John on Aug/6 and we arranged for the work  to be done on Aug/12 at 08:00.  Due to some other issues, John eventually arrived at about 11:30.  He spent a couple of minutes installing the new tubes and looking at another old fixture that I wanted to replace.  I then showed him where I wanted the new outlet installed and he checked into how best to bring power to it before deciding on running conduit down from the attic.  He spent quite a while working in a very hot attic space before getting the conduit down to the outlet - in my opinion he spent slightly more than 2 hours working at my house.  John did a great job of cleaning up after himself with his own vacuum cleaner.  He was very professional throughout and answered all my questions.  I was impressed enough with John's work to ask him to quote me on replacing that basement fixture as well as do some other minor electrical repairs. BTW - $48 more was needed for materials on this job.
