PATRICK WILKENSEN

Patrick began this large job by first completing the demo. We were immediately pleased with his quick demo work and his almost perfectionist-like cleaning up after each day was over. After the week in a half of demo, the rebuilding of walls and the laying of dura-rock began. This is when we started seeing some inconsistencies in his work ethic. There were days that he would show up over and hour late, and there were days he did not show up at all. We spoke to him about our concerns and for a week things looked better. Then he began to lay the travertine tile down. But without our knowledge he had hired a sub-contractor to come in and assistant him. But we later learned through observation that this ?helper? was either there to smoke and chat with Patrick or lay down the tile himself, leaving Patrick able to get paid for doing nothing. During this time Patrick began to show up less and less, and it ultimately caused the week in a half tile job to turn into a month in a half tile job!!! And not a good tile job, at that. Please keep in mind that during this whole time- we the customer were consistent in paying him. Never did we cause him to go without his paycheck. After a serious discussion with Patrick he said the he would do better and he began to install our luxury kitchen cabinets. That was over a month ago, and only half of our cabinets are in. The other half are sitting in our garage. The other pieces have been installed incorrectly. Our garage is now filled with debris, sawdust, left over wood and empty boxes from his personal purchases, and is a hazard area for our dogs, children and adults. He still has the 6 columns to install and all the base and crown molding for the 1st floor. Plus the cabinets. We have not seen him in 2 weeks, and is no longer returning our calls! To say the least he is no longer welcome in our home. DO NOT EVER WORK WITH HIM!!!
